She has stopped eating dinner

My 9-year-old Beagle/Basset/Shepard mix has refused to eat dinner for the past 5 days. I've never had a food-motivated dog (she is very) behave this way.

* She usually gets 1/2 cup of high-quality kibble with some shredded chicken breast and bone broth 2X per day
* She still eats her morning meal with gusto
* We've had a heat wave, so she isn't moving around as much. Though she is inherently rather lazy.
* She's been on a never-ending diet since I adopted her 6 years ago. Our vet keeps saying she needs to lose 5 more lbs (who doesn't).
* Her behaviour in all other respects is the same - loves cuddles and scritches, gets riled up over squirrels, etc.

Has she put herself on a voluntary diet? Has anyone seen this type of behaviour before? My kids are telling me to take her to the vet for blood work, etc., but I am on the fence.

I purchased my Kona EV about 7 years ago. It has 72K miles on it. Lately, I've been noticing that I am not getting as many miles on a full charge as before. Is this to be expected? My first EV, so I haven't had this experience before.

P.S. I forgot to mention that my Kona battery was part of a recall (they were spontaneously combusting) and Hyundai replaced the battery in 2021. Not sure if that helped or hindered.
