I’m 27M, and I just got out of a relationship after finding out my girlfriend cheated on me.

Honestly, I didn’t think it would affect me this much. It’s not just about missing her it’s the future I had imagined with her that’s gone. The small plans, the inside jokes, all of it. I keep catching myself replaying moments, wondering if there were signs I ignored or things I could’ve done differently.

At the same time, I’m trying to remind myself that loyalty isn’t something you beg for or earn by being “better.” If someone chooses to break that, that’s on them.
Right now, I’m just taking it day by day. Some days I feel okay, even hopeful. Other days, it hits out of nowhere and I feel back at square one. I’ve been trying to spend more time with people who genuinely care about me and slowly get back to things I used to enjoy.

If you’ve been through something like this, how did you actually move forward?
