I'm repairing a 1988 vintage amp that uses SJE1490 transistors as a driver. I've looked everywhere for just an old datasheet on the 1490 and can't even find that!
Ultimately, I'm trying to find a current transistor that I can sub for the SJE1490 -
Any suggestions??

Found this 100% working PC in my basement.
Looks like a generic case with a CD drive and Liteon DVD drive installed.
The motherboard is an ASUS CUBX-E Pentium III at 803MHz and 608MB of RAM installed
It has an IBM 85Gb HDD running Windows XPsp3
The cards mounted in it are an Nvidia GeForce4 TI 4200 Graphics card, a Belkin WiFi 802.3 card, and a Yamaha DS1 sound card. It had a NI GPIB for Labview also installed, but I removed it.
Actually, runs pretty well after I replaced the lithium coin, and disabled it from running “SETI@Home” on boot and the automatic start for the NI stuff and Labview.
The WiFi even connects to my network. 😊
I had LONG forgotten about this set-up. It had been by desktop computer in the late 90s, and then I had repurposed it to be my Labview/GPIB controller on my test bench.
Thought you folks would get a kick out of it!

The blower in my 05 745Li stopped blowing suddenly. Complete stop, no light blowing, just dead.
I checked the 40A fuse A-OK, Replaced the motor FSU/Resistor pack... Still Dead. Checked the actual motor for blockage or bad windings (i.e., fried motor) Checked out fine! No Blow at any fan speed, temp, setting......
Came back next day - Started the car - Surprise It blew just fine!!.... On the next day, same sequence, Dead again! WTF!?!?!?
Ran ISTA on the car - IHKA checked fine, all the flaps/doors/etc. Checked fine. I DID get a 9C76 Aux Water Pump failure, but that shouldn't cause the blower to not blow, Right??
Anyone have any clue what could be causing my issue with the dead blower, and possible diags/repairs?
I'm out of ideas!
A buddy of mine showed up with an Apelco AE-95MD marine radiotelephone and he was wondering if I could repair it for him. I comes off of a classic Chris Craft boat he owns.
Looks like a very interesting HF Marine unit that seems to run on 12v and is 1960/70's vintage.
He said he long lost the manual, and he didn't even mark the leads when he disconnected it, so I'm not even sure how to hook it up for testing. It has about 20 screw down terminals and no labeling. (If I did fix it, don't know how he's going to reinstall it!)
I've searched EVERYWHERE for a schematic and/operating manual for this thing and came up with ZIP! I've been through every search engine, BAMA, you name it..... Just asking, on the off chance someone out there has something useful, or knows where to look.

I'm using WSJT-X with my K3 (not S) and use DTR high(+12v) to PTT. Works great. Now I'd like to add FLdigi to do some other modes and can't get it to do PTT.
For WSJT I have the rig set to PTT-KEY set for dtr-rts in the config menu. In WSJT Radio Config Tab, I have "PTT Method" set for DTR/COM1....All works well for FT8.
In FLdigi I've tried to set up the "settings"->"RigControl"-> set to "use RigCAT" checked ON, COM1, and use K3.xml. But when I set "DTR+12" to checked, it just full-on PTTs the rig. NOT when I click TUNE, it just defaults to Keyed! I have found no other combo of toggle RTS or DTR for PTT, alone, or with RTS+12, and DTS+12 that will allow for PTT only when the pgm wants to key. (i.e. when you hit tune or Tx).
I don't want to have to reconfigure the K3, or PC, etc. when I move between WSJT and FLdigi.
Anyone have some hands on experience setting this up, with useful advise??
