Building a Photo Lab in St. Louis

I'm building a darkroom and photo lab in downtown St. Louis. I would like to have a program where peiple can pay for a film photography experience. I will loan you a camera, you shoot a roll of film, come back and develop it, scan it, or even make a print.

So I've been buying cheap Minolta SrTs and repairing them to loan out. I'm also getting some cheap lenses for them. They are such sturdy cameras but very easy to learn on.

What do y'all.think of this idea?

Happy Memorial Day: My grandfather's Indian Mortorcycle pins that we found with his Korean War service pins.

My grandfather was a medic in the Korean War. After he died we found his service pins, but there were also some Indian motorcycle pins with them. I put one of them on my riding boots. I started riding after he died, and I think he would have liked to ride with me.

I tried out Lomochrome Purple!

Trying out this film I was taking pictures of purple things. After developing it I realize that was the wrong way to go! The film makes its own purple, and I am better off focusing on pops of red and orange!

Camera: Minolta XD11

I just picked this up on the Facebook marketplace for $100! No haze or fungus on the lenses, the light meter works, and the shutter timer works. It is SO clean and fully functioning!
