Word is that set licenses from the aborted “Reforged” update will finally be usable in September. What will you use yours for? I’m thinking the Minotauro line, but am also tempted by the Grille – and it looks like we’ll be able to use it for the new Zetsu line if we want. Thoughts?
I’ve been playing this game for almost three years, a bit over 10K games, and while I enjoy it, I’m still not very good at it. On a typical day, I’ll rack up a few solid wins with 2,500 damage but I’ll also get totally destroyed within the first minute on a few other games, dealing no damage at all, which is maddening. I’ve learned to play slower and more deliberately. I prioritize being a supportive team player, to the best of my abilities, rather than striking out on my own.
My win-rate depresses me and I try not to think about it. Overall, it’s 45%. I play mostly in tier VIII and tier X vehicles and have some great tanks that I really enjoy. My highest win-rates are on the T110E5 (60%) and the BatChat 25t (60%). My lowest are on the Chieftain Mk. 6 (40%) and the Leopard 1 (36%). The stand-by tanks I play most often are the Bourrasque, the Action X, the Defender Mk. 1, the Lansen C, and the IS-5.
The majority of the games I play are frustrating and, frankly, a little demoralizing, but good games still compensate for the bad ones. My biggest highs in WOTB: I once killed 6 enemies in battle. The most damage I ever dealt in a single battle was 4,364, which happened to be the first game I ever played in my T110e5. Good memories.
On YouTube I love watching highly skilled players dominate a match, but for me the game is always a mixed bag. I don’t get a lot of positive reinforcement from my teammates. I’ve saved it for us a few times, and I appreciate the thumbs-ups, etc., but more often I get insults when I don’t perform great. I can take it, that’s fine. I’m not asking anyone to be nicer.
I only share this because I think I’m a pretty typical player. For every WOTB hero out there with an overall 60% WR, racking up Masteries left and right, I suspect there are probably a hundred players like me. We’re just here for fun, guys, but we’re trying!

Which tanks, in your opinion, are the most fun to play in WOTB, especially among the higher tiers? Which would you recommend for me?
Some of the tanks I find most enjoyable aren’t technically the “best” tanks out there. I love playing the Lansen C, for example, along with the Defender Mk1 and the Bourrasque. On the heavy side, I like more mobile tanks like to T110E5. I don’t play many TDs but I do enjoy the Super Hellcat.
Any suggestions on "fun" tanks I should grind or save up gold for next? Maybe the Skoda t27?
Got it for my 50th birthday two and a half years ago and have worn it every day since. I absolutely love this watch. Never loses or gains more than 2 seconds per day.
