NON Custom pitchwork decks seem to keep backfiring!

So over the past few years now I been working at various high end studios and some of those have been using Ai a good bit to concept frames up to then sell these to clients as pitch work.

The frames themself are pretty slick sometimes but a good eye can tell its more of the same whats already been done. Somehow all the clients who didn't notice they were ai photobashed or straight up Ai images have actually been pretty horrible, non creative, soul crushing clients to work for with terrible feedback often but the clients we REALLY wanted haven't responded back well. This has been pretty clearly a pattern so much so that some of them fully stopped doing it to my surprise.

I thing there is a sentiment going around that clients have no clue, but if you client has no clue that's probably not the client you really need and its something to think about.
Anybody else got similar experiences going?

The lie and illusion of how 3D Generative Ai functions.

Most 3d Gen Ai model tools use the Objaverse data these basically comes from a ton of Sketchfab like websites. This is where the water gets murky. These 3D artists who uploaded their work to Sketchfab for instance were never informed that their data was collected to make profits from which isn't allowed under their licensing agreement but still they went ahead.

Objaverse XL contains more than 10.2 million 3d objects around 17.5 TB of data.

Sketchfab is just one of those main pillars here, most gen ai websites don't open up about how they get their models or training data and how legal it all is.

Just to take Sketchfab as an example here they were most web scrapped without them knowing it or allowing it and Objaverse just ran with it. They targeted models that artists had uploaded under the Creative Common Licenses (CC) which doesn't mean Take my stuff to train a multi billion dollar commercial entity.

Later in 2023 Sketchfab introduced a NoAi tag but even then there have been many samples still taken.

More of us need to be aware how these systems actually function.
The more you dig into it the more you understand that its foundations are based millions of taken 3D work of others without them ever seeing a penny for all those subscriptions.

No current ongoing lawsuits are taking place (other then Austin Beaulier) on these topics, Sketchfab or Objaverse I believe that to be the case simply because we are still heavily under the illusion that these Gen Ai Websites magically figure out a 3d model by itself without constantly referencing the output of the peoples work.

They never signed up for that, and never see a penny, they unwillingly contributed to their profitable tech to then sell it back to us as the next best thing.

Allenai.or / Objaverse is simply a massive data laundering pipeline for Big Tech.
[They call themself a non profit]

WE ARE TOO WELL BEHAVED IN THIS GEN AI PHASE

Anybody else thinks the entire creative industry is far too quiet, too polite against these Gen Ai companies and Ai future minded CEO's telling each person that this is now how we should run our own creative industry now?
This feels like the piracy stage of creative work at the moment.

We now have a choice of how the future is looking together.
Did we all forget why we went into this industry in the first place?

The same folks who set deadlines as tight as possible, made effieciency a number one priority, made outbidding eachother normal, fire artists on a whim, made us work as late as possible, all to fill their wallets bit more ? We shutting our mouths again for them? really?!

Something needs to happen here, Im tired of acting like data scraping if fine and we all put our head in the ground like we always do.

WE collectively are the INDUSTRY and we all have a CHOICE of how our industry is ran.
Without us there is no INDUSTRY left don't forget that.
