changes in sleep?

Hello!

My twins are 13 weeks today. B/g twins.

For the most part they are able to sleep independently without much intervention from me. I put them down awake and put on white noise and they can usually fall asleep on their own. my son sometimes needs his pacifier for a minute to calm down and then i take it out so he isn't dependent on it.

I am nervous as we are approaching month 4 which is the infamous sleep regression period. can anyone share any insights. do all babies struggle for weeks with it? is it worse with multiples?

Do babies who have the skill to put themselves to sleep have a milder regression?

I haven't officially sleep trained them i would say, they just started sleeping on their own. Will I have to sleep train them after the regression, when they learn new skills like walking/ crawling or after an illness like a cold or fever.

Any insight is appreciated! I know many parents struggle worse than this at this stage so i am very grateful to have twins who sleep well right now. But I can't help but feel nervous for what may come in the coming weeks!

Thank you :)

3 month twins sleep schedule?

Hello!

So i have 13 weeks old b/g twins.

I have done my absolute best to keep them on the same schedule since birth and for the most part its been working for us. they feed at the same time and we also put them down for bedtime at the same time. but the day time naps have been all over the place.

They sleep whenever they want and wake up when they want. I try not to let them sleep more than 2 hrs at a time. but their day time sleep is definately not synced up for the most part. I have not kept track of number of naps or wake windows etc yet. they sleep pretty well at night usually 9:30-6am

its been fine for us so far no major issues. however I am wondering if I should be sync their daytime naps? if so, how would I do this?

also, if any twins parents happen to read this, I would appreciate any insight on how sleep has been for your twins. my twins sleep fine at night, they are pretty independent at falling asleep without needing pacifiers or parent intervention. can I expect this to continue mostly after the 4 month sleep regression with the expception of teething and sickness? would they manage sleep regression mostly ok since they are independent sleepers?

TIA! :)
