Is there an error on my paycheck, or am I missing something?
I was hired a few months ago. For the purpose of the example, let's say my "Pay Rate" listed on my pay check is $100k. Since there are 26 paychecks throughout the year, my "Regular Pay Salary Employee" should be $3,846 approximately.
$100,000 / 26 = $3,846.15
But instead, it is $3,836, meaning that I'm $10 short each paycheck or $260 total for the year.
Is this logic correct? Should "Pay Rate" divided by 26 equal "Regular Pay Salary Employee"? Maybe someone can check thier paycheck and confirm. Just wanted ask here before I check with my HR.
