Dear Belgians (and any others who read this),

As the last day of my presidency has come, it's time to look back on everything we managed to achieve this month. there are two major points to discuss:

1) Improving our governing structure

With Belgium being a growing nation, both in amount of citizens and influence in the world, a rework of our government was highly necessary. therefore, as first action, I named some unofficial ministers on top of the WarEra mandated ones and gave each minister a cabinet with +-3 advisors.

The new structure above allowed us to create focus groups working on different important projects, while congress voted on new legislation and discussed on strategy. Additionally, they made sure to vote all laws rapidly (sometimes <5 min). therefore, i would like to thank each and every congress member for their invaluable support during this term.

2) Developing our strike force

While Belgium was already a force to be reckoned with in April, we ended the month without any external territories and in eco. Our Department of Defence used this short period of recovery to make clear guides to the people before sending them back in war mode halfway May. since then, Belgium has been consistently in the top damage dealers at important fights:

Together this made us rise to a nice 4th pot in total damages, only beaten by nations with far higher population:

An incredible feat for our tiny nation, which made it possible to, once again, take UK and Ireland for us:

3) What now?

With this, my political commitment has come to a (temporary) end. While i have enjoyed helping to build Belgium a lot, it also takes too much time which i would rather spend with wife and son (BabuJr). I would once more like to thank everyone I collaborated with, both in and outside of Belgium) and you can always reach me via dm or discord for banter, jokes or just a pleasant conversation.

Finally, i would like to show my full support to babu. He will finally be the king Belgium always deserved.
