Gendered correctly!

A little background before I share, I haven't started HRT yet and wasn't wearing any makeup, and I live in the deep south.

The other day I had to go to the DMV to renew my driver's license. As my wife walk in we were greated by one of the ladies behind the counter. Her exact words were "Hello ladies, what can I help you with?". My heart literally lept for joy and I had the biggest and brightest smile on my face when I heard that. It truly reassured me that I am on the right path. I hope this brightens your day a little.

Went out for an early dinner last night with the wife.

So yesterday, 07/19, my wife went out for an early dinner. We live in the South, so it's still pretty taboo. Anyways, the place we were going to go ended up being closed, so we searched around on Google to find some place that was LGBTQIA+ friendly. We found a place and I will admit I was a little nervous, but I think my wife was more nervous for me. The place was very nice and we had no problems. They even called me ma'am. Afterwards we stopped by DQ for some ice cream, and the person in the drive thru gendered me correctly. It definitely made my day.

Going on 52 and seriously considering transitioning.

I'm seeking advice as I'm a 51 y/o amab, yet I've deeply always felt that I should have been a girl. I've always been told that I'm so intouch with my feminine side. For awhile I've identified as Genderfluid, but now I'm not sure. I've always felt that something was missing. Any advice would be helpful, including how to start the process. Thank you all.
