Looking for some new reading material, mind sharing which books have helped you throughout your life? Whether it’s through personal development, getting through difficult times, or inspiring stories with aspirational themes and characters.

Whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, political/educational, self-help. Always in the mood for a good book :)

Sharing a few of my personal favorites:

Non-Fiction (overcoming adversity and finding fulfillment):
- Man’s Search for Meaning (Viktor Frankl)
- The Second Mountain (David Brooks)

Fiction (aspirational stories):
- The Lord of The Rings Trilogy (JRR Tolkien)
- The Alchemist (Paulo Coelho)

Political/Educational
- Democracy for Realists
- Buying of the President
- When Mckinsey Comes to Town

After seeing so many spoilers of HOT D online I took it upon myself to just jump right in the source material and see how the entire story plays out.

That being said, I absolutely enjoyed reading Fire and Blood. And tho admittedly it got a bit messy and stacked with names, locations, and events at some points, i found it largely captivating and an enjoyable read overall.

My question is, would it be better to proceed onto the main series of ASOIF (in this case A Game of Thrones)? Or perhaps it would be better to go read A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms for a more digestible read? The graphic novel interests me as well.

Would also appreciate other similar book recommendations beyond the world of GOT/ASOIF.

Thanks in advance!
