EXA: How to win the defensive battle in chapter 4?
Started the game but have been stuck at this part. It's the one with the artillery cannons. Have the barrier at level 3, but it's still just an ambush with orcs and wizards that stomp you

Was given this for free a while back, still kicking. Decided to keep XP rather than Linux it. Dell Inspiron 6400, 1.5GB RAM, Core Duo T2300 1.6GHz
Interestingly going off the files, the previous owner was using it as recently as 2020. Eventually had to replace the keyboard (and the only replacement available was Turkish), but now works great.
