Are we all ditching Claude now?

I've been working across multiple platforms but recently started finding Claude really annoying to code with. I switched to codex and was kinda shocked by the improvement since the last time I used it/ pre codex. I'm kinda thinking I might trade my expenny Claude sub for chat instead. Anyone else?

Advice for my friends son

Hey there, a good friend of mine has a 10yo son. He has already started his own wee business 3D printing fidget spinners, and they're building a website for it (they're already selling quite a few just through word of mouth). What's something practical that would help him continue this passion, e.g. resourcs he could understand for 3D printing to make things even cooler (he's pretty switched on, big AI user but all the business stuff he's done with him and his parents). Anything that would help him keep this passion for business and help him improve?

Help with an 11 year old boy bday present

Hello I really need some help! I'm looking to get a birthday present for my nephew, however it needs to be able to clear customs from Sydney to America (in checked bags is fine). Whats something not too big that an 11 year old boy who loves the outdoors but is just learning about it/ getting out would appreciate? He's also been getting into sailing too so all outdoorsy suggestions would be super helpful.

Sleep insomnia when alone

Years ago my house was broken into, luckily I picked up a shift at the last minute and was working when they broke in, however they left behind weapons etc which was pretty scary. Since then, and tbh since childhood, I have found it impossible to fall asleep when I am on my own. There's no real logical reason, I live in a safe country, I am a proficient martial artist and boxer but when my partner works late shifts and doesn't get home until 1-3am I struggle to stop my mind racing and actually get sleep. i've had therapy for this in the past and have been told I can get sleeping pills if I want but I'm hoping someone has had a similar experience and could provide advice on what they did and how they improved it. I'd love to find a non-medicated solution.

AITA because I refused to move at a gig when someone told the tall people to go to the back

I'm 5ft 11inches. I nearly always refuse to move if I am at a gig, this particular situation happened the other day and some of the ladies there called me the A but in my opinion they are. I got to the gig early, before it started because I wanted to be at the front for the second act, as I knew the band and was there to support them. During the first act a group of ladies talked the whole way through, then did the same in the second. By the time it came to the third band, the one they wanted to watch, they moved forward.

At this point they're standing behind me and very loudly start going 'I wish the tall people would move, or kneel down' over and over. I ignored them because in my opinion if you really want to see a band that badly then just get there early. I'll admit, I didn't care that much about the final band and was planning to move to the back anyways but their passive aggressive comments made me stand there the whole time (along with their total lack of appreciation for the other bands). I stood there out of pure spite for the rest of the gig.
