Pelgrane Press' new Gumshoe One-2-One game came out with the option to buy the PDF only. So I was wondering if anyone bought it and would be willing to discuss it

I'm sorry if this is a repetitive topic or something like that. I looked at the wiki, researched some keywords in the sub and didn't find what I was looking for

I want something very specific. I like that tactical combat like in DnD and similar games, but I also want a game that is not JUST about combat

You can say "but DnD is not just about combat, you can do so much with it!" But when you actually look at the rules its like, investigation? Roll a skill dice. Negotiation? Roll a skill dice. Combat? Pages and pages of rules and even entire books dedicated to monsters for the players to kill

I want a heroic fantasy that dedicates more time to interesting social encounters, investigations (I know gumshoe, but then we have the opposite problem, where the combat is not very good. At least in the ones I know) and if it has mechanics that help you connect and interact with your backstory like the icons in 13th Age, even better!

I know we don't need mechanics to make these things interesting, but when the mechanics support the roleplay it feels so much better

Does such a system even exist? And if it does, does it work well or is it too convoluted?

Player Sent Off in the Copa Paulista for Urinating Behind the Bench Before the Match Began

São José forward Micael was shown a red card moments before the match against São Caetano.

An unusual dismissal took place during Monday's Copa Paulista first-round match between São Caetano and São José. São José striker Micael was sent off before kickoff because, according to referee Gustavo Holanda Souza, he urinated beside his team's bench.

In the official match report, the referee wrote:

"Sent off for leaving the field of play to urinate beside his team's bench before the start of the match."

Because the red card was issued before the game began, São José was allowed to replace Micael and still started the match with 11 players. Tchê Tchê was chosen to take his place in the starting lineup and went on to score during the game.

The Laws of the Game do not contain a specific punishment for urinating on or around the pitch. However, referees generally deal with such incidents under Law 12, classifying them as unsporting behavior or as offensive, insulting, or abusive conduct.

Micael is on loan from Sport. His transfer to São José was officially completed earlier this month. A product of Sport's youth academy, he remains under contract with the club until the end of 2027. His loan to the São Paulo club runs through October 30 of this season.

Once the match got underway, there was another sending-off. This time it was São Caetano goalkeeper Daniel Lamberti, who was shown a red card after fouling a São José player just five minutes into the first half.

However I can't find anyone talking about them (and I have looked extensively). Hopefully someone here will shed light on what its like to run these for one person

I also accept any and all recommendations of systems that are meant for or very well adapted to one single player

Last episode I got the impression that Ashley was mentally absent from the table and didn't understand when Hannan said he was going to the obrimus manor

He told her he was going to save Mara, she forgot to mention that her friends were already doing that and when hannan gave her an opportunity to join him, she didn't even react (just like she barely reacted when she learned he was dead)

Is it just me who doesn't understand Ashley's interpretation of Vaelus most of the time?
