Cat owners: Could you spare 3–4 minutes for my UX research survey? 🐈

Hi everyone!

I'm a cat owner and a UX Design student, and I'm currently working on a case study inspired by my own experience when my cat had an accident. It made me realize how stressful it can be to figure out whether something is serious, especially when vets aren't immediately available.

I'm researching how cat owners make decisions about their cat's health, where they look for information, and what kind of support would actually be helpful.

If you have 3–4 minutes, I'd be so grateful if you could fill out my anonymous survey. Whether you're a first-time cat parent or you've had cats for years, your experience would really help me create a better design.

Thank you so much for helping a fellow cat parent and design student! ❤️

How I Passed the IRCC Medical Exam with Multiple Sclerosis Despite Medical Inadmissibility Concerns

I applied through Express Entry program in April 2026. I was always worried about medical inadmissibility because my medication, Kesimpta, was listed as costing $32,000 per year . However, I later realized that this was the retail price for consumers. The price paid by the government is closer to $27,000 per year. (which makes it non-Inadmissible ( $28,878 per year)

I received my medical approval about three months after submitting my application. Before attending my immigration medical exam with the IRCC physician, I obtained a letter from my neurologist explaining that my multiple sclerosis (MS) was stable. During the medical exam, the IRCC doctor performed a brief assessment, including a vision test and checks of my muscle strength and balance. The doctor submitted that report along with my neurologist's letter, and about a month later, I received my medical approval.

If you have MS, especially if your condition is stable, my advice is to be honest throughout the entire immigration process and provide a letter from your neurolgoist.

One last note: I did not hire an immigration lawyer ; I completed the entire Express Entry process myself.
