Needing advice on the water flow. I have a fx6 on this 75 gallon tank but i got the spray bar attachment on the filter rather than the original output filter, should I swap it out to the original filter since I heard these fish like more water current?
My tank just finished cycling(75g, fx4 filter with spray bar output) I'm planning on going to my local fs this weekend but I know oscar is out of the question also birchir for my tank, severums I might get a pair but ive been looking at keyhole and bosemani rainbows . I just wanted to see if u guys have any advice or see if i should look at other ideas, i figured angelfish before but after looking on reddit someone mentioned they regret going with angelfish for a 75 gallon and he could have gone with better fish for the tank size.
My idea was a oscar, with maybe tank mates?
Discus but im assuming the driftwood and rocks block too much swim space
Birchir with tank mates but I still need research on birchir care
Flowerhorn but I heard they are sensitive and require expert care
Severums, bosemani rainbows and angelfish seem like nice fish to have but I wouldn't want the rainbows or angelfish as the main centerpiece
(I got EBA and fell in love with cichlids and bigger fish since I only had mollies and tetras before so I want to scape my 75g for these fish)
This tank had epistylis, wasnt able to cure it lost my gourami. But now that its empty how can I cure it? I used kanaplex before but didnt seem to work out right now i just have the tank full of water. I wasnt sure if I had to empty out the tank or if I should just let it run and itll die on its own?
Im barely power 60 as of this post, ive been trying to unlock new things and get to apocalypse but its been hard to get higher gear and passing the same levels ive already beat got annoying when I keep winning everything except obsidian pinnacle on adventure
I have the tank at 78f I just raised it to reach 82 overnight but what else can I do to help my fish? Its a three dot gourami I only have this one and a tiny one in a 75 gallon tank im going to add some pothos so the roots can dangle down and help hiding but ive heard this could be bite marks from the tiny one or ich? And was told to raise temp to 82
I got this tank i was still supposed to plant and decorate (planning on redoing it to get it prepared for electric blue acaras) but my girl got me 2 gourami just doesnt know what type and no receipt from petsmart. She got 2 for like 6 dollars if that helps? Its a 75 gal tank but would it be ok with 3 EBA, 10 cory, 2 bristle nose pleco and maybe some Congo tetras?
I have these rocks in the tank and kept it simple since I was going for african chichlids but now im going for 2 electric blue acara instead but am lost on how to decorate this tank, I know I have to add plants but majority of plants I have is red root floaters, pothos, monstera and some drift wood but any tips on how you would decorate this tank? Im planning on having 2 gourami 10 cory 3 angel fish 3 bristle nose pleco and ofc the 2 electric blue acara i have a fx4 filter to take care of the tank, how does the stocking sound? What should I put in the tank to compliment the fish?
