Bachelor of Nursing (Grad Entry Pathway) WAM

Hey

I was just wondering, do I need a minimum WAM to be eligible to apply to this course or is it just based off what current course I am currently studying?

If I need a WAM what would the average WAM be?

I'm Sick of Writing Assignments About AI

Hello,

Is anyone else getting sick of writing about AI for assignments? I am not talking about those little AI academic quizzes you do at the start of a subject, I am talking about essay topics and stuff.

In my psychology subject this semester we have to write about emotions and AI (worth 40% of my grade) and my psych essay last semester was about cognition and AI (34% of my grade).

Even in my physiology class this semester, we had to write an abstract in groups during class time and the teachers actively encouraged us to use AI for the assignment. She said it would be suspicious if there was more than half of the class that didn't use AI. So my group felt pressured to use AI even though we didn't want to.

I hate how much money La Trobe has spent on implementing AI into education and how much more time teachers have to take to teach us about the ✨benefits✨ of using AI instead of understanding what students actually want to learn

Has anyone else had that experience?

So my (20 F) friend (20 F) of 8 years sent me a message on my birthday (clearly) saying that we should hangout for my birthday, and I suggested that we plan for a day on the weekend (specifically Sunday) considering that was when I get paid and that I didn't have the money during that current week (uni student struggles lol).

She said she would get back to me to confirm if she could hangout on the weekend; however, I had to reach out to her the day before (Friday) to ask if we were still doing something and she said that she was busy the whole weekend, and when I suggested to do it during the week she said she was also busy with studies. It is important to note that she said we would plan something for not the weekend after this weekend, but the weekend after that.

From what I can tell, the main intention of the message was suggesting that we hangout for my birthday (no other topics were involved in that convo).

Just to clarify, I don't ever expect anyone to do anything for my birthday and I am more than happy with just a little message on my birthday with those I am close with.

Also, my friend did send me a little message saying happy birthday to me and I am extremely grateful for it.

I am pretty sure it wasn't out of maliciousness.

I guess I am just a bit confused, bc if someone suggest to hangout doesn't that mean we hangout?

What do I do?

Please be nice in the comments 😊

Is this a normal thing that people do often? have I missed something?
