How should I interpret this?
When I (19M) started university last year (I was 17), I had never really been in love with someone. I met a girl in my degree from another country (21F) (she was 19) and I really started to like her, only to hear that she already had a boyfriend back home. Ever since, I've tried to do my own thing and bother her as little as possible.
Recently, for some reason, we have just been getting in touch a bit more and chatting every once in a while during lecture breaks, after class, etc. So yesterday after class, the two of us were walking towards our bikes and she mentioned that she wondered why I never had a girlfriend yet and how she thought that "19-year-old her would have definitely fallen for 19-year-old me."
I feel a bit confused. I believe she's still with her boyfriend (or they must have broken up in the past months), but I just don't really know what the message was here...
