Ill be honest. This is easily the worst gojira album and nobody can convince me otherwise
Less proggy, less heavy, more radio friendly sounding etc etc. It seems like they kind of abandoned a lot of the things they made them so good to begin with on this. Its fine I'd give it a 6.5-7 outta 10. Way too straightforward and simple for the band tbh. It even lacks the atmosphere of magma for example. Every time I listen to this ove the past couple years I just think ok you wanna tone down the heavy fine.. but where's the prog ??? Look at mastodon they make a lighter sounding record but it's still proggy as hell. The is is just... streamlined and less heavy on top of it. There's honestly not to much going for this album other than just being a cool gojira album with some solid tracks here and there.
Yeah it's the worst lol.

Still the best slasher movie of all time. John Carpenter made a timeless masterpiece it set the standard for the whole genre and still reigns supreme to this day.

Yeah i'm not trying to hear all that nonsense lol. The band says they have been writing for a few years and they are not getting any younger at this point. Its already been 7 years since fear inoculum if they are going to put something else out they need to get it in gear get it done and do it. No one has time to wait another 7 years for more material from the band

Next album sometime in the future
What's your guess ? Next year ? 2028? 2030 or after ? Just wanting to see some other opinions
I remember Adam saying a year or two back they were writing and Danny saying they were hoping to get it out next year (even tho you cant believe a thing Danny says lol) my guess they finish writing it this and next year and put it out 2028 sometime. MAYBE at the end of next year around Christmas or something but I wouldnt feel comfortable putting money on it lol. We can hope tho I suppose. feel like they know they don't have forever at this point and age is starting to catch up with them Danny is like 65 at this point
