Feeling Good About Arc Raider's Future

Feeling Good About Arc Raider's Future

In the past 2 weeks, Embark has publicly addressed the 2 biggest (by far) issues the community has encountered with Arc Raiders:

  1. Cheating: https://arcraiders.com/news/ensuring-fair-play

  2. Match Making: https://arcraiders.com/news/notes-on-the-matchmaking-system

Huge. This makes me very confident that, while Embark may not always get each decision right, they are genuine and passionate about their commitment to Arc Raider's future.

And while I certainly don't condone the actions and words of all players in the Arc Raiders community, I think we should recognize each other for the stance this sub in particular has taken against in-game toxicity.

Please keep encouraging one another to play fairly and with a good attitude.

Feeling good about the future.

Towing with the 2.4 Turbo? (OB Wilderness)

Looking to purchase and tow a boat. Total boat package with trailer weigh max 2500lbs fully loaded with gear. Outback Wilderness with the 2.4 turbo is rated up to 3500 (so 70% of max tow capacity).

On paper, I feel like this should all be fine. Towing should be mostly undulating highways and shorter distances (we live next to ocean).

Has anyone had any experiences towing and launching a boat of this weight with their OBW?

I feel like the weak point of the OBW is the transmission...any worries there?

Hewescraft 180 Sportsman: vmax motor or not?

In its standard configuration, the boat comes with a 90hp yamaha. Boat is rated up to 115hp.

In an ideal world, stepping up to the 115hp would be perfect and I wouldnt think twice.

However, we plan to garage our boat and its going to be a very tight fit. The 115 is a bigger footprint and likely just won't fit.

So, the dealership is telling us that we should get the 90hp Yamaha Vmax. It is the same physical size as the 90 but the dealership tells us it is "pretty much a 115hp."

Anyone have any thoughts on this claim?

Is the 90hp vmax actually more powerful than the normal 90hp?

My google-fu has been inconclusive thus far.

As someone who has played since Playtest 1 (and wished the game would go back to those roots), Squire Royal is amazing.

Ya, my sense of discovery and wonder is gone...but the CHAOS is back.

Like, being able to steal a portal again just feels amazing.

And now PvP fights can take place organically because the boss rooms don't always spawn and good loot is everywhere.
