What are the actual chances you get done in for not disclosing your legal name on your website?

It is quite stupid how we need to publicly disclose a legal name as well as an geographical address. There's a simple solution for an address: virtual addresses / po box. Now the issue is putting my legal name on there (not quite a "john smith" name).

I've tried scouring the internet, trying to find anyone who has been fined or otherwise consequenced for not disclosing their name and found nothing.... has anyone here gone through something like that?

Edit: sole trader (registering a business will have your name on company house anyway)

I feel like for some people it's less about stacking silver and gold and more about stacking collectables with insane premiums that make 0 sense

It seems like it's impossible to get gold or silver for spot price in the UK... even in private sales!

I get businesses wanting their premiums... but I don't get why private sellers do.

I could maybe understand collectible coins for more than spot, but people out here wanting a 20% premium on some random scrap gold... and it gets worse with silver (I have seen 60% premiums, I'm not too familiar with silver so that could be a standard premium when buying off bullion dealers but it does seem a bit much)

I've heard that buying near spot america and the middle east it isn't so bad, why is it so bad in the uk market? Just not enough people who partake in metal trading or what?

Am I going to trigger an AML check if I deposit a chunk of cash and spend most of my balance same day / day after?

Gold has dipped quite a bit, and I want to add to my stack.

I have lent quite a bit of money to family over the years and most of the time they've paid (or had someone pay for them) in cash, so I have more physical cash than I do in the bank. A couple of times this has been the other way around where I've given them cash and they've transferred it to my account.

This is probably my first deposit, I've withdrawn around £7k one time a few years back.

I didn't really have a reason to deposit before, but I do now. I want to buy around 5 ounces of gold from a site like HGM.

Can the bank just have a look at my transfers for "proof"? Do I need to be worried?
