Haesoo woke up the next morning to find Taeha gone. It was the first time since they started sleeping together that he wasn't there when she woke up after they had embraced. As she went to work, she couldn't help but think about their current situation. They exchanged a few casual messages~she wished him a safe trip, and he reminded her to contact him if anything came up.

Meanwhile, Taehee was glad Taeha had left. He was certain Taeha would go on the business trip to make up for the trouble he caused at the exhibition when he suddenly left to rescue Haesoo. Taehee planned to impersonate Taeha and approach Haesoo, hoping to ruin Taeha's life once and for all.

Elsewhere, Yoonsoe met up with a friend and went to a salon together. While they were there, her friend mentioned that she had attended the same elementary school as Taeha and proudly talked about how he had written something in her planner back then. She even asked Yoonsoe if Taeha was coming so she could remind him they used to be classmates. Yoonsoe immediately shut the idea down, saying Taeha would be with her throughout the month-long business trip because Director Baek had specifically assigned her to teach him everything he needed to know. In other words, there was no chance the blonde girl would get to meet him.

Back at Mincheol's workplace, Ari was in the restroom when she overheard the new recruit gossiping about her. The woman mocked her cooking skills, insulted her looks, and confidently claimed that she and Mincheol would break up soon. Ari wasn't about to let those comments slide, and most likely confronted her, one of minshit workmate runs to him to let him know what's happening
