MX Residency question

Hi friends, i am considering applying for MX residency. I have my appointment tomorrow. Assuming, things go well, for the 2nd round which has to happen in MX, how long does it take to get the temp/permanent residency on your passport and how long should of a trip be planned?

Struggle with husband's family

Hi Friends - (Apologies for the long post). I need some real perspectives here. I came to the US in my 20s, have pretty much made a life for myself here on my own. I was married late i.e. at the age of 38 and been married now for 5 years. While i love my husband, i can't really accept who he becomes and how he expects me to adjust/behave when he is with his family. His family is a family of professionals but backward mentality. They are a close knit BIG family but to me it seems emotions take over the practicalities of life and the approach to living life. They just believe in spending money, eating and drinking. There is no ambition to grow, do well in life, travel, learn new things. I sadly did not know this before i married him. The ways of living are not healthy i.e. hygiene is a concern to me personally (yes, I am a clean freak) and also they don't believe in having healthy, open dialog or conversations. They believe in staying quiet to keep the peace.

Recently my inlaws are visiting i highlighted to my husband, habits that are making me uncomfortable. He took that public to his family and mine and literally started a fight with them. It was me vs. 3 of them (husband + parents). I had to protect and defend myself and my tone was high. My comments were rude because yes, i called them out on things i did not like and I was quoted to be the one disrespectful. I did say in the process I can't live like this and even with my husband because I felt alone and unsupported. It seemed like i was the only one fighting to keep the marriage alive. The 3 of them got upset and moved to a different house. I have now become the villian in this whole thing. While I am personally at peace and enjoying the lighter energy at home, I think this has messed up my relationship big time.

We bought a new condo last month and had dreams to set it up but now my MIL is there with my husband and doing her own thing which is also annoying me since it was my house to setup. I can consider getting back with my husband when family boundaries are defined but he refuses that. Is separation my only options? Do i apologize and get my life back? Though i know this situation will repeat again and I actually value my peace and part of me doesn't even want to try harder to protect this bond. I am very confused! Please help me think through.
