Annie’s age doesn’t make sense

I really like this show, especially the queer representation. However, the one problem I have with it is how none of the characters’ ages make sense. Now, I’m Canadian and I know that the legal drinking age here in Ontario is 19, so it doesn’t make a lot of sense how Annie and Rory got into the club on her 18th birthday. I guess they could have gotten fake IDs or something. But then there’s also the fact that they supposedly both graduated middle school together, but now Rory is one year older and going into his first year of college? The newest thing that I noticed on a rewatch is that Annie turned 18 during the summer, yet she’s going into her senior year in the fall. At least here in Canada, if your birthday is in the summer, then you turn 18 the summer AFTER your final year, not before. This is because schools take in people based on year of birth, not necessarily age. So, like, everyone born in 2009 would all go into kindergarten the same year, regardless of if they are 4 or 5. Maybe I’m being nitpicky, or things work differently in New York, but I’d be curious for people to weigh in on this.

Crush vs Fanta

Which do people like better? Which came first? I grew up drinking crush and it’s always tasted better to me. Especially the zero sugar variety is a great deal more carbonated and has a stronger flavour. When you think of a classic orange soda do you think Crush or Fanta (or something else)?

Current stock: which one you choosing?

Assuming they’re all cold, which one are you going for?

Anyone seen these before?

First time seeing one of these (I’m in Canada). This flavour was honestly solid. It’s zero sugar and tasted like the OG Redbull mixed with a blue freeze. Only complaint is that it wasn’t super carbonated but the flavour made up for it. Anyone else tried this brand? Any opinions?

Savoury Green Themed Egg White Oats

Egg white oats with onion powder, nutritional yeast, broccoli, avocado, and salsa verde. I mostly make sweet oats but occasionally I’ll whip up something like this for lunch.

Advice for getting 90s in 12th grade (specifically chem and bio)

I just finished writing my final exams of 11th grade (I’m in Ontario Canada) and I know that my grades won’t be where I want them. I am very passionate about academic and put a lot of work in this year in hopes of achieving a minimum 90% in all my courses. Although I was able to meet this goal for some classes I fell a bit short in my university level chemistry and biology courses (ended with high 80s). It’s very important to me that next year I can achieve mid to high 90s (I’ll settle for low 90s if I have to) in all of my courses. What I’m really asking for is any advice people have around how to push for those marks. I will admit I wasn’t perfect this year. There were times I slacked off. However, even when I would spend hours and hours studying there would always end up being something on the test that wasn’t on my radar. I plan to get a tutor but I don’t know how to make sure I’m studying all of the content or know how to be prepared for every way a question can be asked. If anyone who got 90s in these courses has any tips on how to stay disciplined and study even when you don’t “feel like you need to”. In order to get into the schools I want to go to I need higher level grades than what I’m achieving but this year I it felt like I capped out at mid-high 80s even on the tests I thought I was prepared for.

I think this might be a Canadian brand so idk how many people will have tried them but I wanted to know if anyone else finds these soapy tasting. I’ve never tried this flavour before and the only other bar of theirs I’ve had was the cookies and cream one 2 or 3 years back. I couldn’t even finish this bar because it literally tasted like it had been soaked and mixed with soap. I don’t remember them tasting like this the first time I tried one. It’s honestly such a shame because these have a very similar taste (besides the soap) and texture to Barebell bars but are notably cheaper. Do any of you find these taste like soap? Is it just the one bar I tried?
