how big is your sample library? Or do you bother with them free ones floating around the web

was just curious how people make music these days is it mostly sliced sample based or instrument recording voice drums etc based was all. i personally am not a fan due to copyright problems and the like whats your experience with them?

what options do mac os users have for sample management in 2026?

i own logic but moved to linux as it does the job. windows 11 and linux distro users have a few options for independant asset management but is there any for latest release of mac os? do you use one and what are your opinions of them?

i release a free sample manager and arranger for linux and win 11

OWMB (OpenWav Media Browser) is an open-source, high-performance audio plugin (VST3, Standalone) and sample library management system built with JUCE 8 and C++17. Designed for music producers, sound designers, and sample collectors, OWMB features an interactive 2D Sample Cloud Constellation Visualizer, multi-tag filtering, ultra-fast asynchronous WAV scanning, and direct DAW drag-and-drop integration.
