New Jacket Day! Butterscotch x Vanson C2RN

My first post in this sub! The new jacket arrived today and I could not be happier. I haven't owned a motorcycle for years but I always loved this classic jacket style. I was thankful to find Butterscotch LB posts measurements and they were super responsive to questions I had for other measurements. Really amazing first experience with them.

Vanson quality was famous when I still had a bike but I always had my Dainese, and never could make the price of Vanson work as a college student. I still love that old Dainese but the CE armor makes it impractical and a little silly to wear as fashion.

Fits great and there's room for a flannel or other shirt. I appreciate a bottom zipper too. I'm 5'7 so this is a pretty true waist length like most motorcycle jackets are. The last few months I've been getting into PNW boots, selvedge denim and some of those brands do leather jackets too. My eyes got to wandering and stumbled back onto this style. Now you see the result 😂

Other subs usually post the outfit so sharing this for anyone that wants to know 👍

Jacket: Butterscotch x Vanson C2RN (Renegade). Black satin lined, size 42

Denim: Iron Heart 21/23oz 634 straight cut

T shirt: The Flat Head heavyweight pocket T-shirt (9 oz - Natural color)

New Jacket Day! Butterscotch x Vanson C2RN

Hopefully this counts as heritage wear being my first post on this sub. I think these are heritage pieces but maybe not exactly heritage styling? Still figuring it out but feels like there's a good variety here

Please pardon the basic ball cap, I’m dealing with vertigo today and didn't fix my hair or grab a different one for the photos

I usually prefer untucked for my shirts and understand many here prefer tucked, and that's all good. For this jacket, I think I would select a shorter T. I really like how it looks with the natural colored shirt

1 month with Roanoke Denim

Seeing the monthly leather email go out reminded me to take some update photos of my boots.

These felt instantly comfortable on arrival but I still wore them inside for a week to be sure. They're quickly approaching ultra-comfort status, I just need the uppers to wear in a little more to make stairs a little easier 😁

It's cool seeing the other denim boots shared to see how others' are aging. I love the light blues starting to pop in the different areas on mine. I noticed the backstays the other day, which I am liking an irrational amount at the moment. I'm getting lots of compliments on the boots too. One of the employees at the Multnomah Whiskey Library recognized them as Nicks immediately so we got to talk boots for a bit

I tried to get different natural lighting for the photos, except the last one is just our entryway. They show mainly as blue, it's a gray day here in SW Washington if the photos look gray'ed out at all

The build: Much like a Moderate arch Moc Toe Lug. HNW last, 8" height, soft toe, pretty standard options otherwise.

The laces: Generation Blue Steel

Thanks again to Shuyler for giving me the chance to order these and the team for building amazing boots
