hello, so im looking for a company that will disable my on board bad amd 6750 1gb failing amd gpu. ive heard mixed results about it. is it reliable enough to send my 2011 17" macbook pro to for them to preform the gmux mod to make it useable again?
hello, im going run Ubuntu KDE on my 2012 unibody macbook pro on macbook pro and see if runs better then mac os by any chance. i know linux can save old computers. so we will see what happens when i create the installer and make the switch from mac os to ubuntu. i already know to linux quite well, just never used it on a mac before. i will keep you guys updated and see what i find out.
Hello, so im looking to upgrade my 15" 2012 unibody macbook pro to the hi-res screen and wondering how i go about that. im also wanting to upgrade the wifi and bluetooth card as well to.
anybody got any buying advice for upgrading from a 1400 x 900 screen to a hi-res screen? dont really know what to look for.
hello, so ive been doing a lot of research lately on the old unibody macbook pro's. i happen to own a couple unibody macbook pro's. a 2012 15" a 2012 13" and a 2011 17", looking at aquiring eventually more macbook pros for more testing and moding. i think with the use of open core legacy patcher, if anyone wants to test before i i go ahead and test the theory my self, spoof there macbook pro efi settings and set it to a imac 27" late 2012 and change some other settings with in open core to manipulate thoses settings it just may work to get 32gb of ram working without any major diy hardware modding. i plan on testing this theory my self. but sense ram is really expensive right now i thought i post it here and thought anyone would be willing to test on one of there machines?
Hello, so im wondering. have any of you guys gotten windows xp running on a 2011 macbook pro? rather it a be 13" 15" or 17"? with all drivers working properly? im looking for thunderbolt drivers for the 17" machine, audio and intel hd drivers, chipset drivers, networking drivers, usb drivers, firewire drivers, ethernet drivers, bluetooth drivers, track pad and keyboard drivers, and i sight drivers. any body know where i can start? im wanting to start with windows xp pro 64bit.
also, im looking to refubish this system. its in like new condtion. barely anything wrong with it besides that black spot on the screen there. and looking for any best upgrades for this machines and wanting to sell. i think i can get $200.00 for it? or am i wrong?

was going to build a micro atx system but for what im wanting to do with the desktop for virtual machine use now. im going to be using differnt graphics cards for differnt virtual machines and operating system testing.
So please let me clairify my post here. im building a linux box on lga 2011 -v2 platform. i have finnaly deiced on parts and what im going to use for everything.
*Mother Board -
*64gb of ddr3 ecc ram, the fastest that the board can support.

*Case im going with is a either going to be a pizza box case i find online, or most likely one i end up building by hand.
*1000 Corsair Power Supply Fully Modular
* Dual DVD Drives one of them being blue ray
* Dual 4tb hdd's and dual 2tb ssd's
* Main Gpu GT 1050ti 4gb low profile for linux gaming and basic three display out put.
gpu will be for windows vista, windows 7, windows 8, windows 8.1. will also be using amd rx 550 low profile with custom patched driver.
* For windows xp, im going with Nvidia quadro K4000 3gb. its a single slot card and wont affect much on the motherboard its self.
* 3rd gpu for do6 6.22, windows 3.1 , Windows 4.0, Windows NT, Windows 95, 98, Windows Me , Windows 2k,
* im also wanting to load mac os 7, 8 and 9, as well as 10, 10.4, 10.5 10,9, `10,10 10,11 , 10,12, 10,13, 10,14, 10,15
i have plan on how to hook all of this up to my one board and crazy ass system. im going to use a server board for sure. i know i need a lga 2011 -v3 motherboard for this at least. but my point is im still trying to find the best of thee best graphcis card to load the following - Mac os 7, 8, ,9 10, 10,1 10,4 10,9

hello, so im doing a little crazy project here. but im trying to build the smallest possible lga 2011 dual socket system. but anyways thats not why im here. im building a linux box. i keep forgetting the graphics card to run these operating systems on a vm with out having to constantly shut down the pc and swap out the gpu every ten seconds. i want something that techincly has a driver that i can run between windows 3.1 and up to windows 2000. this also includes windows NT 4.0. i already have windows xp figured out. i hope you guys can help me out! ill be curios to hear what you guys have to say. 😄
