They withdrew their not guilty pleas for the they previously entered back in April to four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment. They also chose to not appear at today’s hearing. Today both of them submitted a plea by order to the court. From what I gathered from the different articles it means they can either enter guilty or no contest pleas to the charges. The judge in the case will sign off on the pleas and then hand down a sentence. From what I read they could face actual jail time or just have to pay a penalty. I wish the judge would throw the book at them but I’m guessing that they will get off with just a slap on the wrist.
