starting tomorrow (Monday).
diet is a calorie deficit. does that technically mean no sweets/etc if I’m staying in a deficit? I read conflicting things on here!
I anticipate the biggest challenges will be the outdoor workout (since it can’t be consecutive with the other workout) and drinking a gallon of water!
what advice do you wish someone told you when you started?
thanks in advance!!
hey all! I’m new here so sorry if this has already been asked.
ive been an equinox member for just about a year. I changed my diet and went from 196 to 161 lbs, hoping to lose around 25 more. I work out about 5-6 days a week, mostly doing classes there (Pilates, strength and hiit with some cycling, lifting a couple times a week).
a solidcore is opening in my neighborhood in a couple months, much closer to me than equinox. Of course I plan to try a class when it’s open (I’ve never done solidcore but have done a little reformer Pilates and a ton of mat), but my question is geared to those who were maybe in a similar situation. Is switching to just solidcore okay if that’s the only workout I’d be doing (besides walking/running)? Can anyone speak to differences in physical results? (I know that involves diet too, I mean in regards to the workout being the variable if that makes sense) I feel like I see influencers show their solidcore “results” but I’m looking for the average person doing this regularly as their primary workout to change their body and would love to hear about your experiences there.
Sorry that was long winded and thanks in advance!! :)
