Anyone else finding it hard to find "normal" and not "high protein" "no sugar" snacks anymore?

Let me begin by saying that I'm a fit and lean person whose idea of a treat is just a nibble of a chocolate or an ice cream. That's not self control, that's just how much I crave for it. But when I do, I do want a proper treat, not the no-sugar nonsense. Few days ago I was craving for a simple orange popsicle from Kwality Walls and to my dismay I can't find it on any of the delivery apps or even the store downstairs. Today I wanted to order a normal "Pav" and the only options I could find were whole wheat on Amazon Now.

I believe in eating tasty stuff but in moderation. I feel that due to this whole "Health conscious" culture in everything , I may not be able to find the indulgent stuff eventually. Anyone else feels the same or is it just me?

Review-Burma Burma Thingyan Festival Menu

Massive fan here- of Burma Burma for their taste and consistency. So naturally I had to try their limited edition Thingyan Festival Menu.

Started with "Palata Sando" which was extremely oily. I still liked the taste and filling but the oil was quite overpowering and overshadowed the whole experience.

"New Year Parcels" were interesting but the sauce was again very oily.

"Hawker's Rice Bowl" was my main which had a lot of interesting flavour combinations and really fresh and crunchy vegetables. I really liked the variety of textures and flavours overall but the only component which was a miss was the fried spring roll served which again was extremely oily.

I wanted something light for dessert so opted for the popsicles - "Citrus Ice and Coco-Mint Crush". And to my absolute and utter surprise this was mind blowing. It looked pretty unassuming but if you are a fan of subtle and balanced flavours and sort of a hit (coco-mint had candied ginger pieces), you'll absolutely love it. This should totally be a part of the permanent menu.

Overall I'd recommend going for the experience but skip anything with fried components. "A" for innovation and flavours though.

Tip:We did a walk-in, waited for an hour and got the table so seems like you can skip the cover charges/bookings

Dehradun style (non stuffed) Kulcha in Bengaluru

I recently came back from a trip to Dehradun and had the best kulcha of my life in the smallest shop in the Sabzi market . Now I need that in Blr. I tried Roti Kulcha Naan but they do only stuffed Kulcha and it was not as crispy either. Will be forever grateful if someone can recommend such a Kulcha place

I'm increasingly noticing Indian roasters are focusing more on co-fermented processes rather than getting premium varietals which taste good without any additions. Is it just for suiting Indian palate or to cover for the lesser varietals? Thoughts?

PS- I like Co-Fermented coffee, I'm just curious about this though

This has never happened before but is more frequent now. At first I thought I must have pierced it with my WDT while trying to stir during bloom phase but I skipped that next time and still getting grounds in the cup. Help!
