Hello po! Incoming freshie here and I just got my sched. Ang nakuha ko pong PE is 3rd choice ko which is ten pin bowling. Tbh hindi ko po siya masyadong naresearch since late na po yun nadagdag and yun lang ung sport na somewhat decent ako. The problem is i didn’t know na may fee pala siya na 2.5k. Papayag po kaya yung admin if magpalipat ako ng PE na walang bayad during AFR? Hindi po kasi namin kaya yung 2.5k na yun and I know I’m at fault na hindi ko rin siya naresearch nang maayos. This might be a no-brainer question for some, but as a massive introvert who literally gets nervous to go up to someone and make small talk, i find it quite difficult to make friends. As a freshie, yes, block sections but most of my batchmates are already close to one another so feel ko I’m just trying to fit in if try ko ngayon makipagusap sa kanila online since they already have their own friend groups. Pls help a UPD freshie po huhuhu!

Hi! Medyo nagpapanic ako ngayon while typing this, but essentially I am to enroll sa UPD and I passed SMFI scholarship.

Of course, I’m very much grateful sa blessings. However, magdodorm me since medyo malayo bahay namin and hassle magcommute. Ang rent monthly is 5k.

I did the math, and aabutin ng 60k annually ang rent sa dorm, and although nagbibigay ng monthly allowance ang SM ng 3k, 8 months lang siya so 24k lang. Ang need pa rin naming bayaran is 36k.

My family is not well off but they want to give everything para lang makapagaral ako comfortably so we opt na magdorm ako. I’m just worried na hindi namin kayanf bayaran yung 36k especially since may iba pa kaming debts na iisipin.

I applied sa other scholarships like Ayala, SBFI, and GBF, pero wala pang results. Sa GBF, I took the test and nasa 90th percentile ako so I am pretty confident that pasok ako sa interview. Ang problem lang is mahaba raw ang process, 2 interviews and onsite screening. Wala pa akong nagagawa run. Pero ang laki ng benefits sa GBF. 40k per sem, so thats 80k a year. May butal pang 20k for my allowance kung sakali.

As much as I want to wait sa results ng GBF, mag-aawarding na ng SM scholars sa 28 and ang deadline ng preregistration is sa 23. So I really don’t know what to do.

Should I take the risk and hintayin na lang ang results ng GBF, or should I be contented sa SM? Also, afaik magsasign na rin ng contracts sa 28, but if I do ever pass GBF, pwede bang ipa-void yung contract?

nagcacalorie deficit kasi me, and kumain ako ng isang cocopan pastry. ngayong ilolog ko na siya, idk how much calories that was. if merong may list ng calories ng cocopan, pwede pashare here. thank uuu

Sa mga nag-confirm na po ng slot nila sa SM Scholarship, may email na po ba sila sa inyo or update kung ano na po magiging next steps? June 1 po kasi deadline ng akin and cinonfirm ko na po slot ko and up til now wala pa rin pong update.

Should I just wait or should I now be worried? Thank you po!

Pwede na po bang pumunta sa UPD for pre-enrollment health assessment, since ang nakalagay po sa academic calendar is June 1–30?

A bit restless lang po ako since walang nag-eemail regarding enrollment huhu. magwawait na lang po ba ako for an official email or go na sa PEHA? Thank you po!
