I’ve heard that if the jaw is even with and doesn’t go past the eye it’s a spotted bass and that’s what it looks like on the smaller one but I’m not sure. I don’t think I’ve ever caught a spotted bass before.

Not hunting but as a hunter and someone who appreciates wildlife I thought you guys might find this cool like I did. Saw something white on the side of the road driving home from work so I had to pull over and see what it was

I’m in northern Illinois, and they don’t hurt just kind of itch
