Meat rosemary is easily the most tragic one of both timelines in beyond canon, when you realize that both Rose and Kanaya were forced to separate due to things that were out of their control. This wonderful piece is by @ouroboroed on twitter!

Now granted that’s the expected result from Nintendo Grift losing its steam as time goes on (especially when everything is directed at Sony rn) but damn, I never even thought that this guy’s viewer attachment rate would nosedive barely a year into this “career”

There is a saying to be learned from this. You can take the poor development out of Pokemon games but you can’t take the poor development out of Gamefreak.

New Jade slander (specifically for her Candy variant) just dropped thanks to the update! That aside, I do think that this gives a lot of depth as to how resentful she can be towards relationships that she wanted to be a part of, all the while give Yiffy an actual reason as to why she suddenly hates Kanaya.

Now I know that some people will not like Yiffy being an unapologetic asshole (even though all signs were pretty much leading up to that being the case) or Kanaya being openly hostile towards her even though she’s just a kid. But you have to realize that everyone in Candy are the worst possible versions they could be, and it strikes me as both unsurprising and intriguing that Kanaya would in fact show detest for everything that’s happened in Candy Rosemary and to everyone involved… including Yiffy’s existence.
