SKL, feeling ko na-condition utak ko sa siomai rice

Every time may long review session ako, bumibili ako siomai rice either sa kapitbahay namin or sa kiosk sa school. Eventually naging parang cue siya sa utak ko na oras na para mag-aral. Amoy pa lang ng chili at toyo parang gusto ko na magbukas ng notes.

Idk kung placebo lang pero parang mas mabilis ako maka-focus kapag yun snack ko compared sa chips or candies. Umabot sa point na nung bumili ako one time tapos hindi naman ako magre-review, parang may boses sa utak ko na sinasabing need ko na mag-aral whahaha. Medyo sad din kasi ngayon hindi ko na ma-enjoy siomai rice nang maayos. Amoy at lasang acads + stress na siya sakin 😭

Every budgeting system I’ve tried works fine when life is calm and I’m organized, but completely falls apart during exam weeks, burnout phases, or just generally chaotic periods. That’s usually when I end up overspending without thinking or abandoning the whole system altogether.

I’m trying to figure out if there are budgeting approaches that are more “stress-proof” or low-maintenance, where you don’t need constant tracking or discipline to keep them working. Curious what people actually use when things get messy, not just when everything is under control.

Dream ko kumain neto simula bata ako. Idk, something about it screamed masarap kaya I've always wanted to ear one. Kaso KFC yung resto na hindi namin madalas kainan, kaya kahit takam na takam ako alam kong hindi ako mabibilhan. Pero ngayong medyo matanda naman ako with extra cash na. I finally treated myself to it after years na hanggang tingin lang! Medjo disappointed ako na barely half lang ng wrap yung may laman pero icl masarap siya.

I set restrictions on certain apps for myself so I can study. But recently, even though I know it's wrong, I still end up finding ways to bypass it. Is there a way to stop myself or harder things to bypass? Idk anymore
