COEP vs NITW vs VNIT

Im have interest in mechE and probably further studies in Aerospace engineering. My options are

NITW/K, COEP and VNIT

All my relatives, working abroad and holding senior positions in corporate, are suggesting COEP solely for its alumni base.

My friends in COEP are saying that it's mid and only the seniors/alumni help them in academics.

My dad is recommending VNIT since it's near the Dhirubhai Ambani Aerospace belt, which contains Boeing, GE, dassualt etc, which would be helpful for internships.

Personally, I want to go to NITW for it's reputation and academics.

What's the best option here

Will non ciwg quota fluctuate as much as ciwg cutoff?

Im getting NITW mechE forsure but nitK and nitt are slightly out of reach.

Could the fluctuation make everything worse?

Light Pollution hinders my telescope use

I have an 8" dobsonian, it is not collapsible and hence hard to transport.

I live in a bortle 8 area and the only stuff I have seen in 1 year is planets, moon, m31, m42, some open clusters, 1 globular cluster (m5). Everything above 6+ mag (spread out brightness) is way too faint. I can see 9mag point objects (eg-neptune).

Im missing all the DSOs.

I can't drive (age) and my friends/family are busy and unavailable to transport it to a less polluted area.

Currently jupiter is going down, saturn is barely rising and moon is with the sun. There's literally nothing to see.

Any suggestions?
