THE VAR TITLE | All shocking decisions this season in favour of Celtic.

THE VAR TITLE | All shocking decisions this season in favour of Celtic.

*Disclaimer - I think this list was initially compiled by a Rangers fan, and there are a couple in here that I personally think are on the softer side.

But you will NEVER convince me that this number of ‘honest mistakes’ isn’t skewed in terms of who benefits from it. Some of these are actually hilarious in terms of how bad they are.

Congratulations Celtic

Ignoring all the other noise around fixtures gone by - in terms of a one match winner takes all title decider - it was a hell of a contest.

Utterly gutting from my point of view - but it’s a performance we can take immense pride from.

The scenes at the end of the game though, and the fact there are now reports of Hearts players being assaulted in all that, are totally unacceptable and there MUST be consequences for that. Credit to the majority of Celtic supporters who booed that behaviour.

Enjoy your day lads

Scunnered.

Scunnered. Absolutely scunnered.

If the correct calls are made in the last week, we’re walking up as champions this morning.

If even the correct calls are only made last night, the absolute worst case should be that we’re wakening up this morning only needing to ‘not get beat heavily’ to be champions.

Instead we are wakening up feeling deflated on the back of a great 3-0 win whilst the entire footballing world is finally shown the sort of nonsense we have had to content with for decades up here.

The fact the coverage has been so widespread on this is at least a glimmer of positivity. Almost unanimously, outwith anyone living in a green and white bubble with dribbles running down their face, the football world can see this for exactly what it is. The fact you have people like Scott Broon, Pat Bonner, Tam McManus and Darren O’Dea all conceding this was a harsh penalty says it all really.

I posted the other day criticising folk for having defeatist attitudes - but I can’t lie….. I’m struggling here, I’m just asking what even is the point any more when this is what we are up against.

Yeah….. just completely scunnered.

Defeatist Attitudes

Honestly can’t believe how quickly some people are willing to give up on this after today.

Celtic still need to go and get a result at Fir Park to even earn the right to take it to Parkhead on Saturday.

And even if they do, if we win on Wednesday - we don’t even need to beat them. Just avoid defeat.

Either way - worst case is, we will be in with a game next Saturday to take the title.

Really hope the team have more fighting spirit than some of the folk who are already waving the white flag this afternoon.

No penalty…

I was downvoted last night for calling this a blatant penalty.

In what world is this not a handball?

I’d argue this is even more of a penalty than the stamp on the foot. The defender literally moves his arm towards the ball to control it.

Some genuinely bizarre decisions last night it has to be said.

** EDIT - just for the people telling me to go read the rules and that I don’t know them etc etc etc - here’s a link to the actual law of the game.

https://www.theifab.com/laws/latest/fouls-and-misconduct/#direct-free-kick

And the text that’s appropriate here:

Handling the ball
For the purposes of determining handball offences, the upper boundary of the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit.

Nothing about T-shirt lines mentioned anywhere. Armpit line is what matters with regards to the rule.

And if you can tell me your elbow falls in line with your armpit - you might want to see a doctor.

The image that goes with the rule tells the story completely. You won’t convince me that where this ball has hit his arm falls in the green area of that image.

Per the rules, it’s a clear and blatant penalty.

Please tell me it’s not just me who's getting tired of the amount of AI generated, low effort, repetitive guff we're starting to see in the Hyrox spaces now?!?

Every single day, both here and within the facebook groups I'm part of, its the same regurgitated guff day in, day out from people desperate to seem relevant or insightful or as if they've had some kind of epiphany in cracking a problem which either didn’t exist in the first place, or has already been cracked a million times over already.

AI Generated training plans being passed off as their own work..... Race insights and analysis from people who've never run a race in their life but want us to believe they know what they are talking about because.... well..... trust me bro.... and so on and so on.

Heres a hot take for the day:
The people worth listening to and paying attention too in this space aren't the ones relying on Al to write their posts for them.

Why? Because they don't need to. Their years of experience tends to do their talking for them.

Al definitely has its place in this space - but this aint it.

Its lazy. Its often nonsense. Its Largely slop. Most of the time it sticks out like a sore thumb. And trust me, it’s not making you look 1ike the Hybrid fitness genius you think it is.

I’m coming up for a year in to wearing my Helio strap soon - but I’ve found lately that the biocharge scoring seems to have become very broken.

Today as an example…. I woke up from an 8 hour sleep, with a sleep score of 90, an optimal HRV score and an optimal RHR.

Wake biocharge? 46…. That near perfect sleep charged my score by just 36 points.

I’ve attached some other data for reference to show the problem. This show a full week of wake biocharge never getting above 55 despite consistently green HRV and RHR values. Note the lower HRV from Sunday is pretty normal for me courtesy of my Saturday schedule. This isn’t untoward and always looks like that.

And finally I’ve attached a yearly wake biocharge chart which you can clearly see has fallen off a cliff during April and May.

January average - 78
February average - 70
March average - 73

April average - 57
May average - 45

**edit - also worth pointing out that the ‘maximum’ value of 78 for the yearly wake biocharge screenshot is wrong too, 10th April this was sitting at 87 so that’s another bug too**

Just to be clear - there have been no changes in my lifestyle or training regime since I started wearing this device - consistency wise I’m pretty much like clockwork.

There’s clearly a problem with biocharge scores which has come about since some time in April.
