During the 1999-2000 Upper Deck basketball card season, the company ran a promotional "Draw Your Own Card" contest. Fans were encouraged to submit their own custom drawings of players. The winning entries were then featured on an official, limited-run insert set in the 1999 Upper Deck MVP packs.

Just picked these up from a claim sale on Facebook the other day. The only issue with the Big Papi card is a very small lift on the bottom left corner edge on the front. The Yaz is a numbered card.
Extremely heartbroken for losing my 2013 David Ortiz Flag Speech (SSP) - was not graded - raw, placed in a sleeve and top loader.
Reorganizing my cards the other night I realized that one of my all-time favorite and prized cards (purchased) was missing from my Big Papi collection. It wasn’t in the greatest of shape (small bent corner and I think it had a very tiny indentation on the back) but still one of my grail cards in my collection. I’ve searched everywhere in my house, to include my wife’s purse! Every place imaginable was turned upside down and sideways! NaDA!!!! 🥴🙁
So now the search is on / I’ve seen a few online on eBay - I don’t need a graded one and some are a little “pricey” (it may come down to just getting it at the asking price). I’m scanning social media for one - doesn’t need to be in pristine condition, but will pay fair market value for a “7sish/8” level card to the right seller.
If you know of anyone (or maybe it’s you 😆), please let me know that I’m searching for one. If they are diehard Sox fans, don’t bother! You’d have to pry that card from their dying cold blooded hands before they gave it up voluntarily!
