I have an almost two year old neutered male (Smokey) and a four year old spayed female (Biscuit) that I have been working on bonding for a while. They currently free roam in two separate bedrooms in my home but I desperately need one of the bedrooms back so I started really working on bonding them consistently last week. I previously tried the neutral space in a small x-pen and they fought to the point I cried and said I was done trying. Fast forward to the last ten days I decided to let them hang out with my supervision in Biscuits room as she isn’t as territorial as Smokey. It went really well and everyday I extended the amount of time and slowly let them both into the hallway, then to my room and then Smokey’s room. Eventually I took down all the gates just to see how’d it go and so far so good. My female was mounting my male for about a day but they haven’t been fighting at all. They lay in the same space, will eat treats side by side, let me pet them both at the same time and I feel like they “look” for each other. Although I haven’t caught them grooming each other or laying side by side yet. They will sit nose to nose like they are waiting for the other one to groom them but it hasn’t happened yet. Tonight I gave Smokey some oats in his room on this little bench he perches on and Biscuit came over helped herself to his bench and oats. Smokey didn’t seem to mind at all that she was on something that is his or eating a treat I gave to him. At what point do I consider them bonded and entrust them together 24/7 in the same space ?
Adding a picture I took earlier today just to pay my bunny tax.

Has anyone else experienced Shady Groves Billing Department? I’m convinced the place is ran by aliens or the most incompetent people you can find. My insurance company takes care of my IVF needs at 100% of the cost. I pay the co pays and elective expenses such as PGTA. Originally they billed me $1800 for an embryo culture. I argued with them back and forth for weeks about it. My insurance company even told them they were paid and would not be paid again. That eventually clears up but it took way longer than it needed to. I had another egg retrieval in March. Early April I get a text that on 4/11 they’ll be making an autopay from my checking account of $175. I looked at the breakdown, agreed it was correct and they took their money. Today I get a text that I owe $25. I send a portal message asking what this is for. They state it’s from a visit on 3/13, but I have a $300 credit on my account would I like them to use it. I say yes and then ask where did that money come from!?

They state I was overcharged/ I overpaid in March. In March I paid them $2940 because my coordinator ( who is also clueless ) told me that’s what I owed. She sent the bill and because I needed to start my cycle I paid it. She said I owed $2640 for PGTA & $300 in assisted hatching. I questioned her because I never used assisted hatching before but she insisted it was a fee I needed to pay. Well that extra $300 I paid was the assisted hatching cost that was not supposed to be billed to me …. I just feel like the coordinator never has a clue of what’s going on and now I don’t trust her. On my first ever IVF cycle she told me the insurance company denied the IVF request, but the same day I received mail with an approval letter. She said “oh sorry I read it incorrectly” 🙄

She also originally told me the insurance company was paying for embryo storage. I get an invoice for it. Call her and she’s like “oh sorry I forgot to set it up”

How did they have 300 of my dollars just hanging out that I didn’t know about ? What if I was finished with IVF, were they ever actually going to send me a check for that money!?

Has anyone ever requested a new financial advisor from SGF because I’m sick of the one I have.

I see many post about transfers and I plan to transfer late summer or early fall. How does a transfer work ? Do you take medication leading up to it to prepare ? I understand they are implanting the embryo but I have no clue about any preparation or what goes on right after.

Is there constant monitoring like there is with stims? Would just like some info on how it all works.
