how all quickplay matches should end

normally this matchup is super infuriating with the way Hero can delete or ignore Villager's options while killing from practically zero, but rather than enraged, this match left me feeling extremely satisfied.

always wanted to do this

this jigglypuff player was totally wrecking me (puff is actually a pretty scary matchup on villager), but i unexpectedly got the chance to pull a glorious comeback.

explanation: growing tree + axe = free shieldbreak

Update on my mystical desert spring

last time i asked about fountain colors and settled on pearl, and since then have added silent princess as well as a single vine-covered column (finally got ONE ruins DIY and didnt have enough spare vines for a second).

i probably will swap out the fountains for something else later and may even move them somewhere else (either in this area or in another area entirely) and expand how i implement ruins decorations. also will probably add a pearl shell partition behind the mermaid wall (or vice versa) when i unlock that DIY.

but for now i'm pretty happy with how the space is coming along!

-

BONUS: second photo is a completely deparate area, which i'm conceptualizing as ancient mermaid ruins. not much but some flowers, a pot or two, gyroid altar, and some silent princesses, but i look forward to keep developing it as i get more stuff and more ideas.

-

anyway, what do you guys think? and are there any items/DIYs that might fit well for me to look out for (that i may or may not have yet)?

*edit: i wanna apologize to the mods. my internet froze while posting this and i accidentally submitted it multiple times thinking it wasn't going through. thanks for removing the duplicate threads!!

trying to decide between the purple shell fountain (on the left cliff) or the iridescent shell fountain (on the right cliff). what do you guys think?

purple pros: matches the windflowers better, allows the attention to draw to the middle.

purple cons: probably will have to mix in purple windflowers to make it "make sense" (currently they're all blue to match the fake rosetta stone)

iridescent pros: beautiful and mystical especially in the moonlight.

iridescent cons: more distracting and makes it harder to know where you're supposed to focus.

*note: i reserve the right to replace the fountains with other furniture with less stupid dimensions later on.

i ended up just digging up on of the shrubs instead of picking up amd replacing all the fences.
