I put tire shine on my new EDV
My dispatch has been giving me the same van for months & I take care of it as if it’s my car.. the windows are always spotless and I’d even vacuum it. 😅 -of course someone scratched the side of it on my day off. I asked dispatch when we’d be getting more EDVs & asked them to put me in a new one if possible.. (I know, I’m privileged) I got a brand new EDV with 4 miles on it & the first thing I did was throw some tire shine on it lol
My route is primarily in a golf course neighborhood with multimillion dollar houses, so you know I had to make my van look the part 😎
I even got a new vest so I’d look the part as well 😂
Literally the cleanest van at the station.
GT8 - Should I..?
Today I went into my local bike shop looking for a Trek Checkpoint ALR 5, they didn’t have any in stock. (as I figured) - But they have a GT8 in stock, in my size as well. It’s pretty far above my price point, but I was shocked to see how much bike there was for $3,200. I’m just starting to get back into cycling and I’m looking to buy something I won’t regret and can use essentially anywhere. “Buy once, cry once” kind of moto. After looking on their website and seeing that I can’t even order one, I’m tempted to pull the trigger and get the one in store. The one they have in stock is in “Afterburner Black” - arguably the best looking color they offer with the GT8 imo. However, I’m nervous though.. how reliable are they and how hard is it to get parts? To all the X-Lab owners in here, what do other cyclists think about X-Lab? I’ve been wanting a Trek Checkpoint for a while now and I’ve been actively looking on marketplace since June with no luck. The GT8 looks incredible though, and I was shocked at how light it was.
I’m 5’9” with a 33.5” inseam

Negative comment karma..
My comment karma is -30… I think it might be from deleting a bunch of old comments I made from years back. I work for an Amazon DSP and I’ve been wanting to point people in the right direction/give insight in a subreddit for fellow DSP drivers, but the sub doesn’t allow people with negative karma to post. Any advice on how I’d be able to fix this?
