Looking for feedback on my free CC0 PBR texture library

Hey everyone,

I run a free CC0 PBR texture library called Polyscann, which some people here may already know.

This is my first time asking directly because people download the textures, but I don’t really know how well they work in real projects.

If you have used any Polyscann textures before, I’d love to know:

Are the textures useful in your workflow?
Is the quality good enough for Blender, Unreal, Unity, 3ds Max, etc.?
Is the download process easy?
Is there anything you think I should improve?
What type of textures should I upload more?

Polyscann is free and CC0, so you can use the textures in personal or commercial projects.

Website: https://www.polyscann.com

Thanks! I’m trying to improve the library and make it more useful for 3D artists.

Hey everyone,

This week I added 5 new free PBR materials to Polyscann, focused on old walls, damaged surfaces, and architectural materials.

New materials include:

Old white plaster wall
Weathered concrete surface
Damaged brick and plaster wall decal
Old red brick wall
Rough stone wall texture

All textures include PBR maps: Albedo, Normal, Roughness, Height, and AO.
They are ready for Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, and other 3D workflows.

Feedback is always welcome.
What type of material should I scan or create next?

Hey everyone,

Right now I mostly upload free scanned PBR assets on Polyscann, like realistic textures and photogrammetry materials.

I’m thinking to also start uploading free stylized PBR textures for games and 3D scenes, like stylized wood, stone, bricks, walls, ground, fantasy materials, and more.

Before I start, I want to ask artists here:

Do you want free stylized textures too, or should I keep focusing more on realistic scanned PBR textures?

Please vote or comment:

  1. Yes, upload free stylized textures too
  2. Focus more on free scanned realistic PBR textures
  3. Upload both

Free download: https://polyscann.com/assets

Also, what kind of stylized textures would be useful for your projects?

Added 6 new free marble PBR textures this week

This week I added 6 new free marble materials to my texture library.

The focus was on realistic seamless stone surfaces for archviz, games, interior visualization, and 3D rendering.

The new set includes a mix of white, black, and green marble styles, from clean soft veining to more dramatic natural patterns.

All textures are seamless and include full PBR maps:
Albedo, Normal, Roughness, Height, and AO

They’re ready for use in Blender, Unreal, Unity, Corona, V-Ray, and other 3D workflows.

Free download:

I’m also creating more seamless photogrammetry PBR textures, so if there’s a material you want next, let me know.

I’m curious too, which photogrammetry textures do you think are most in demand in the market right now?

Feedback is always welcome.
