Ubisoft Investor Call

Ubisoft Investor Call

Ubisoft still have not recruited for a head for creative house 2 (Ghost Recon falls under this one).

Yves said Assasins Creed Black Flag is set to be released for 2027 fiscal year but did not mention anything pertaining to Project Over.

Ubisoft mentioned their new team ai developments.

At this point, my anticipation is now low. I'm sure 2027 might be the release year for this game.

If there is no announcement in November/December for a 2027 release, I'm just not going to care anymore.

Arma 4 is releasing next year and it will be a better experience.

Arma Reforger Should Be On Your Playlist If You Love Squad Based - Third Person Shooters (Next Gen Console & PC)

I can't take anyone seriously when they complain that there's no third person tactical shooters, or constantly complains about the state of Ghost Recon, but doesn't enjoy the good games and modding that's out there.

As contrarian I can be to many of you guys, I do believe in being positive and just enjoying video games.

Arma Reforger is on console. Arma 4 is out next year. I'm not sure if console is scheduled for a release.

A few years back, a lot of Ghost Recon content creators made a lot of wish lists videos about what they want to see in a new game. Ironically, Arma facilitated a lot of it.

My confused response always was - "just play Arma." Reason for that - Ubisoft realistically would not be making an Arma-like-Ghost Recon.

Bohemia Interactive is a AA studio. They don't provide AAA experiences like a massive and immersive open world with storytelling.

But if you're serious about tactical squad based gaming and enjoys the freedom to do whatever you want in them, I'd strongly recommend Arma Reforger.

Arma 4 is out next year (hopefully) and I'm excited for it.

To get my third person fix, playing Ghost Recon and Arma is all I need and I hope you guys that haven't played Arma Reforger on next gen and PC, will give it a go.

170 hours on Arma Reforger has 100% been PVE with team AI with third-first person perspective.

790 hours on Arma 3 has 98% been PVE with team AI with third-first person perspective.

I hope you enjoy the video.

What type of gamer are you? Ghost Recon fan Vs Squad Based Tactical shooter fan

I'm interested to know what type of gamers you guys are.

I've loved the fire team shooters going back to the PS2 era - the Conflict Desert Storms, Socoms, Ghost Recon, Conflict Vietnam, Freedom Fighters.

Today personally, I play a wide range of solo PVE squad based shooters - although I'm passionate about Ghost Recon, I am passionate about solo squad based tactical shooters. It's a dying genre which Ghost Recon is holding up in the AAA industry.

I think this is why I'm indifferent to Project Over being first person. I have over 900 hours in Arma playing in third and first person. If it was the only game I played, I probably would begin to care.

Tonight, I played Six Days in Fallujah and fell in love with the game.

My vote would be the second. Would love to know your thoughts.

Do you use Gameplay Mods in Ghost Recon Breakpoint?

I'm interested to know how much of the PC community use gameplay mods Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

This includes:

- Spartan mod

- thank the radio mod

- fear the radio mod

- increase enemy presence mod

- first person mod

- Snipers in the wild mod

Personally, I wouldn't touch Breakpoint without any of these mods and for me, it turns this game into one of the most challenging tactical shooters for solo PVE players.

Without mods, I prefer Breakpoint to Wildlands. With mods, Breakpoint is much better than Wildlands.

However, I get the feeling that the PC community prefers a more casual vanilla stealth experience.

I made one post about all the leaked content so far for the new game, and instead of having constructive discussions, most of the community were crying about the game not being third person.

They didn't praise the info - they didn't think, this game might actually be a tactical and squad based improvement. You cried that the game wasn't third person and felt the need to tell everyone, though we don't care, that you won't buy the game.

I took a moment to think about this argument - how many third person shooters are there? They have to be military, tactical or stealth themed and I have to say - there is a lot.

This argument that gets used so often, is one of the most disingenuous arguments this community uses. This is coming from someone who loves third person shooters.

My biggest hope for Ghost Recon Project Over that it's first person only, so we can have a real separation from the casual whining from this community to players that simply just love tactical shooters.

The third person shooter list this community ignores:

The Division (2016)

The Division 2 (2019)

The Division Resurgence (2026)

Ghost Recon Wildlands (2017)

Ghost Recon Breakpoint (2019)

Hitman (2016)

Hitman 2 (2018)

Hitman 3 / World of Assassination (2021)

Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal (2024)

Sniper Elite 4 (2017)

Sniper Elite 5 (2022)

Sniper Elite: Resistance (2025)

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Call of Duty Black Ops 7

Arma Reforger (2022)

Arma 3

Black One Blood Brothers

Other Third‑Person Shooters (2014–2026)

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (2015)

Metal Gear Survive (2018)

The Last of Us Part I (2022 PC release)

The Last of Us Part II Remastered (2024)

Gears of War 4 (2016)

Gears 5 (2019)

Helldivers 2 (2024 TPS co‑op military sci‑fi)

Red Dead Redemption 2

Grand Theft Auto 6

Conclusions

The Division is one of the best third person franchises there is that's close to Wildlands and Breakpoint - most of you don't play it. You complain that there's bullet sponge - there is. Wildlands and Breakpoint aren't hardcore tactical shooters - they're still close to arcade wise like the Division. It's probably that you can't one hit head shot everyone on the map right, and claim "I'm super tactical."

Arma Reforger has been out on console - it's too hardcore for you guys so you dismiss it. I have a bunch of PVE third person videos of this game with team ai on my YouTube channel.

Hitman is one of the greats - you cry that there's no third person shooters but you never mention this game. It has a wide catalogue of missions and scenarios to play.

Call of Duty has great third person modes - a game that has better shooting mechanics and sounds than Wildlands - you don't mention that when you're throwing tantrums

Metal Gear Solid 5 - it's probably the best game here beside Arma 3 - again, nothing. It's better than Wildlands and Vanilla Breakpoint.

Heck, you still have people still upset over Breakpoint and don't play it.

I know what this sect of the community just want: Wildlands, Wildlands, Wildlands. It makes sense.

Follow the instructions from the legend Andy and proud to say he's from the UK.

He also showed me how to remove other HUD elements. Join his discord - that's where the real Portal community are at. There are a lot of great creators there.

I was incredibly grateful to the guy for his work - I haven't touched Battlefield 6 since they removed PVE from the game. Last week Friday, I spent 5 hours playing against bots and had great fun.

I do not want a Ghost Recon Wildlands 2. But business wise, Ubisoft should improve Wildlands and make money from it.

u/Eagleyezx — 19 days ago

Compiling data for my last video, I have two theories for the possible release date:

  1. Trailer/Announcement in May or June 2026. Game releases in November 2026

  2. Trailer/Announcement in November 2026. Game releases by April 2027.

Mind you, the 25 Ghost Recon anniversary is this November 2026.

If you're not going to buy the game because it's not third person, we get the point but nobody cares. Constructive discussions please.

Big thank you to FPSQG: https://youtu.be/d8l684JIF84?si=Ex5BKIDWl9syWpwI

I wanted to make this infographic because although FPSQG has made a leak video and I also did a translation video of it, I think a lot of folks might have missed the fine details of the leak.

I have to retract some comments and posts I have made about Project Over - if this leak is true, Project Over could be one of the best tactical shooters on the market.

Anyways, I'm ready to embrace you AI Slop commentators and for the rest of us, I hope you find seeing this info on these infographics helpful.

How many of you will pay £70 for this? Hit the like, make this post go viral and let's advocate to get Ubisoft to talk about this.

I'm a Ghost Recon Wildlands critic - the game did good things but it was lacking in a lot of areas.

However, Ubisoft have created unique games in Wildlands and Breakpoint. GZW is the only game I can really compare them to.

All the details of this proposal is in this poster - Ubisoft, if Assassin's Creed are going to get 10 new games (I'm not even exaggerating), then give the tactical community a true tactical experience in a definitive edition.

Let's make this go viral.

I know we're anticipating Ghost Recon Project Over, but I want Ubisoft to start talks on a definitive edition of Ghost Recon Wildlands.

In an open world, we should have the ability to plan main missions. Here is my modern concept of what that would look like, and it's inspired by Ghost Recon 1 and Rainbow Six 3.

You should be able to plan what vehicle you plan to use for infil and exfil.

You should be able to plan the placement of team Alpha, Bravo and Charlie.

You should be able to finalise the load out and equipment for the main mission.

This is what a modern Ghost Recon 1 model would look like in an open world game.

Unfortunately, most of the modern day audience has ADHD when it comes to gaming, and you'll probably not want these things in a Ghost Recon game. I even caught a Ubisoft dev say in an article that console gamers are too dumb and not hardcore enough to want these type of games, hence why they explained why they made Future Soldier.
