I'm really just trying to decide if I should save the extra $1000 and pick up the ef version. I shoot on a canon R7 and R6mkii and I'd be using it for wildlife. I'm just wondering if that extra $1000 for a little bit of sharpness and newer autofocus is actually worth it or should I just pick up the older model. Right now I'm using the Canon ef 400mm f5.6 so I'm looking for something a little newer seeing how that lens is pushing 30 years if not already lol.

Also I'm open to some primes that are in the same price range if yall know some.

So I found a canon ef 135mm f2 used for really cheap. Good clean glass. Expect the autofocus is broke, Canon doesn't offer repairs for it anymore so I thought I'd see if anyone knows a good repair place to get a quote on fixing It so I know if it's worth buying in the first place.

I know this is a pretty odd comparison since the R5mkii is now a thing but these two cameras are in the same price range ish. But you have the 42 megapixels for the R5 vs 32 on the R6mk3. But I'm assuming the R6mk3 has the better autofocus. Not sure about sensor though.

I've been thinking about buying the Canon BG-R10 grip for my canon R6mkii. I've found them used on MPB for around $200.

I'm really just looking for some tips for shooting milkyway shots on a still tripod. I'm using a canon R6mkii and a 24-70 f2.8 lens. I'm not stacking my images yet, that's pretty much the only thing I imagine I could do to level up my photos but Im wondering what tricks others might have.

I'm going to a concert later this year and I always see videos people post and the audio is blown out. I've thought about buying a small camcorder but I was just wondering if there's a external mic I could get for my phone? I know dji makes a small mic but would anything like that actually help?

I'm mainly wanting something I can bring into a concert and the sound won't get blown like on my phone. Im also looking for something that won't cost a fortune Since the venue won't allow professional grade cameras I can't bring my main camera. Any recommendations? I've been looking at some sony camcorders but I'm just not familiar on the video side of things.

I'm going to keep this short and simple. Should I be taking my SD cards out of my camera for long term storage? I already take my batteries out. And I just sit my camera equipment on a desk in the open to prevent lens molding form bags since I live in a very humid area. Is there anything else I should be doing?

Edit: I probably could've explained a little better so let me fix that. As "long term storage" I meant for storing my camera equipment. And should I be taking my SD cards out of my camera when doing so?. Not storing photos, as I have sdd drives for that.

As a photographer selling photos to clients should I be using raw over craw? I know the file size is smaller hints the name (compressed raw) but how much info am I actually losing? I know the difference between jpeg and raw is huge but every sense I've gotten my first mirrorless camera I've been shooting Craw and never really thought about it. But now I've started to think on it more. I use two 128gb lexar V60 cards. Is it worth the extra storage and should I just shoot raw?
