Thinking about getting the Astro A50 Gen 5 and wanted to hear from people who use it

My setup is a macbook, pc, and PS5. Ideally, I want all three connected at the same time so I can switch between them without constantly unplugging stuff

I care a lot about sound quality and mic quality since I use Discord pretty often, and I’ll also be using the headset for work, so comfort matters too

Would the A50 Gen 5 be a good fit for this setup? Also, can I reliably use the PC port for my macbook and xbox usb port for my PC?

Hi everyone, I’ve been stuck between these two for a while and keep changing my mind

They’re both around the same price. I’ll mostly be drinking black coffee every day, but I’d also like to make iced coffee, Spanish lattes and cappuccinos sometimes

The Philips 4400 looks nicer to use because it has a screen, profiles, more drink options and a few iced settings. The LatteGo system also looks really easy to clean. The only thing putting me off about the Philips is that it seems to need a bit more hands on maintenance, especially the coffee oil tablets and lubricating the brew group. I know both machines still need regular cleaning, filters and descaling.

The ECAM290 looks more simple and straightforward, but it’s also an older model with no profiles, a basic interface and fewer drink options

I’m new to automatic coffee machines, so I don’t really know which one actually makes the better coffee or which one is better to live with long term

Has anyone here owned either of these, or ideally used both? Which one would you go for if you mainly drink black coffee but still want the option to make iced and milk drinks sometimes? I’d also like to know how they’ve been for cleaning, maintenance and reliability

part of me thinks hermen hulst's new strategy of keeping playstation games completely hidden until they’re right next to launch means zero chance of a trailer. If those reports about a 2027 release window are true, they have absolutely no reason to rush a reveal to the public yet

but on the other hand, the ps5 era is already flying by and naughty dog has literally only given us remakes and remasters so far. The online discourse is getting pretty dry, so even a tiny cinematic teaser showing the vibe of the game would completely shift the narrative right now

do you think sony keeps it locked in the vault for the ps6 generation, or does geoff keighley get to drop a surprise update on friday?

usually sony goes all out with crazy statues for their massive first party games like spider-man. Kind of a bummer for anyone who wanted a physical statue or a steelbook to display

They originally said it was coming out early 2026 but we are already halfway thru the year now and havent seen a single thing. Going completely dark like this is never a good sign. Honestly it feels like they quietly pulled the plug on it behind the scenes or something

Hey guys, here's a 3 month update on the Roborock F25 Ultra

This is actually my first wet and dry vacuum. Before this, I was using a RoboVac, but I wanted something with more control

The main thing that sold me was the steam feature. I’ve been using it almost daily for the past three months, and honestly, it’s been a really solid experience overall

The first thing that surprised me was the weight. I expected it to be heavy, but it’s actually pretty lightweight and easy to move around. It’s also very straightforward to use, nothing complicated about it. You just pick it up and get going

Maintenance has been way easier than I expected. I think I’ve only manually washed the mop a couple of times in three months because the self-cleaning system actually works really well. Compared to my old RoboVac, it’s not even close. That one used to take around four hours to dry the mop and still didn’t feel great. This one dries it in about 20 minutes, and there’s no bad smell afterward, which honestly shocked me

Cleaning it after each session is also quick, maybe 3 to 5 minutes max, so it never feels like a chore

I mostly use the steam mode, and it does a really good job, even on tougher stains. You might need to go over the same spot a few times, but it gets the job done. It’s not magic, but it’s reliable

Hair tangling wasn’t an issue at first, but over time I did notice it happening occasionally. That said, it’s pretty easy to clean out with the brush they include, so it hasn’t been a big deal for me. Definitely still better than my old RoboVac, which used to get tangled constantly

One thing I liked is that it doesn’t leave any bad smell after cleaning. Sometimes in steam mode there’s a slight burning smell, but it goes away pretty quickly, so I didn’t really mind it

I did run into a couple of small issues. A few times when placing it on the base, it kept saying the vacuum wasn’t placed correctly even though it was. Restarting it fixed the issue. Also, there were a couple of times where it didn’t start drying after self-cleaning. But after a software update, I haven’t noticed those problems again, so it seems like they fixed it

Battery-wise, I haven’t tracked it super precisely, but it easily cleans my whole place on a single charge. Charging takes around four hours. Steam mode does drain the battery faster, that’s noticeable. Auto mode is much better for battery life and can probably go close to an hour, though I haven’t personally pushed it that far

Overall, I’m genuinely satisfied with it. It’s been a bit of a game changer for me in terms of day to day cleaning. Easy to use, low maintenance, and the steam feature ended up being way better than I expected

If someone is thinking about getting this model, I’d definitely recommend it
