Deshroud in progress ! (Gigabyte 3080 Ti)

Hi everybody, I'm on a project of mine.

Working on a full deshroud on my gigabyte 3080 Ti gaming OC (with everything custom, so new backplate of course !).

Those are PLA printed for now with my bambulab A1 for tests (hence the splitted parts, and no, I won't turn it on like this, it's only to see how it turns out IRL and fitment), with integrated plenums (13mm) and for now 3D printed screws because I don't have the real ones right now, nor the threaded inserts right now. It does use the original screws from the base design (for the backplate, PCB mounting and the shroud)

Note: the design is compatible with 3080, 3080 Ti, 3090, 3090 Ti, across the gaming OC, vision and eagle series, and both revs, for anyone wondering =)

Note II: those are pics of prototypes that are in various stages, so not all the pictures are replica of what's the actual design, though it's pretty close.

Would like if anyone would be interested, I could do some productions run if requested (the overall cost is pretty high due to the backplate). Cost would be around 150EUR (around 174USD, without taking into account time spent into that price). I also intend to sell the files with only the mounting points so one can make its own deshroud, without even the GPU in hand.

To be extremely clear: I have nothing to sell you here or anywhere on that profile, I'm just wondering if people would be interested, especially given the price of the kit for a GPU series that's not the latest.

I'm open to any question or any supplementary infos that's requested, have a nice day y'all =)

Idea for a premium headset

Hi everybody,

Not sure if that's the good place, but here I am.

Currently designing a headset for myself with my experience of conception software, but maybe planning to sell it some day (not even sure, I literally have nothing to sell you)

This is the second iteration I've made, and it was revised to be more organic / "flowing" thanks to Claude (it only did the review part, nothing about this was "vibe coded").

There's two parts, the top part in nylon PA12 and the base in aluminium (you may not be able to see it, but the base is flat, every "arch" you on top is in nylon);

I'd like to hear what you think about it, about the design itself. Please keep in mind that it's meant to look premium, not like a random stand you could find on Amazon.

I'll answer to every comment

Have a great day =)

Idea for a headset rest

Hi everybody,

Not 100% sure if that's fitting the rules of this sub but here I am.

That's a prototype I would like to make for a headset rest (maybe even create a brand out of it, but right that's just an idea, I'm not here to sell you anything).

I'm posting this because I would like to know what y'all think about the design.

Some specs:

White part will be made in PA12 (nylon), base will be made out of aluminium, both 3D printed.

The wavy part that you can see in the base and in the arch is a structure called "gyroid". No AI was used at all, I can send proof pictures if anyone interested.

Would like to hear what you think about it =)

Edit: idea was to have a premium look and playing with lattices structures
