How Much Do We Know About PROMISE?

I saw the recent news, and I just want to know how much we actually know about it other than it being a cousin to Perseverance and Curiosity.

Where Can I Find Older/Outdated NASA Proposals or Plans?

I mostly want to look at the evolution of Artemis/Orion through the years, from the Constellation Program to today. Or see old plans for Gateway for when I attempt recreation in KSP. Or the old plans for SLS, the Exploration Missions, the Deep Space Habitat, the Skylab II, et cetera.

Is there some sort of NASA database with all of this stuff, or are these sorts of things not even public?

If Neither Lander for Artemis III is Ready, What Would Happen?

I’m just wondering if they’d simply delay the mission, if it’d become a free-flying mission, or if it’ll even fly to the ISS. And if it’s simply a delay, would they perform more dress rehearsals to prevent ‘losing muscle memory,’ or maybe just keep it on the pad, or even just keep it in the VAB?

Is Anyone Else Doing Predictions For The Name Of The Artemis III Orion?

I personally began today, but I was wondering if anyone else was doing it, or if it’s offensive to the astronauts or something. Truly it began weeks ago when I predicted the crew would be all-American and that they’d choose a more patriotic name, but now I know that’s incorrect and so I’m going to be trying with this new information.

Is There A Way To Make A Circular Solar Panel Still?

I’m wondering for my Duna landers, which I plan to base them off of InSight or Phoenix.

And to elaborate, I mean stop their sun-tracking and make them point straight up.

When We Get A Moonbase, Could NASA/Artemis (or China/Russia) Put A Camera Facing The Earth 24/7?

Something like how there’s live ISS views. I understand why they wouldn’t, but it also seems like something NASA would do. Or live views of the lunar surface from the Moonbase. It would be really interesting to see, even if it wouldn’t really change much. Again, I understand why NASA wouldn’t do it, due to bandwidth things, but the Earth would also stay in the same general place in the sky due to the moon being tidally locked with the Earth, so other than the bandwidth issues it seems easy to do.

Does NASA Have A Backup-To-Prime Crew System Like Apollo For Artemis?

I know the Artemis missions have backup crew members for Artemis, but it’s only like two people. So I’m wondering if NASA has an official Apollo-like system, or if they simply select astronauts.

Thoughts on Jared Isaacman?

I was just wondering this, since I personally really like Isaacman as the NASA administrator and support many of the decisions made by NASA under his leadership. So I wanted to hear your guys' opinions.

Will Lanyue Be A One-Time Lander?

I’m not sure how borderline this question is. But I’ve just been thinking about things recently, and this question came to my mind. Is it known if China will use Lanyue multiple times to land astronauts on the moon like Apollo? Or will it be a lander used once before they use something else, like a larger lander? Or are we just unable to know or even reliably theorize? And speaking of which, how far away is China from a lunar landing anyway? Pre-2030 or post-2030?

Is EUS Official Dead?

I heard a House committee, I think the House Committee on Appropriations, released a proposed fiscal year 2027 for NASA that didn’t include the Exploration Upper Stage or the Lunar Gateway. But I can’t find the proposal. So is this claim true, and if so, could you help me find it? And is Congress allowing for the Gateway and EUS to be cancelled (or for Gateway, ‘paused’)?
