I need it for my American citizenship
Hey everyone,
I’m 16 and currently preparing my first-time US passport application (along with my younger brother and sister) at the US Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany.
We are claiming citizenship through our mother. She was born in the US in the 90s but moved to Germany when she was about 2 years old.
To get our passports, we need to prove her "physical presence" in the US for that time. Our grandpa is still living in the US and is going to write a signed affidavit/letter confirming she lived with him from birth until age 2.
My question to those who went through this: What are the absolute best supporting documents to back up the grandpa's letter?
We are looking for:
- Old medical/baby records?
- Grandpa's old tax returns listing her as a dependent?
- Census records?
- Hospital birth records?
What does the Frankfurt Consulate prefer to see for early childhood years (0-2 years old) so they approve it without delays? Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance! 🌴🇺🇸
Edit: im born out of wedlock
For me an big no
Hey everyone,
I'm currently looking into buying a 2012 Bentley Continental GT with the 6.0L W12 engine (575 hp). The car has around 52,000 km on the clock and looks like it's in great condition.
I’ve done some research and a lot of people are telling me to completely stay away from the W12 because "maintenance will financially ruin you" and that for every little engine bay issue, the whole engine has to come out. Others say the 2nd gen (2012+) is way more reliable than the early 2000s models regarding electronics and the gearbox.
I wanted to ask the actual owners and experts here:
Is the 2012 W12 really that much of a nightmare if it has low mileage and a good service history? What are the realistic annual running costs if nothing major breaks, and what should I absolutely check before buying?
Appreciate any honest advice!
everytime someone asks for help people just comment stuff like bring it back to its original owner or great paper weight you have like bro what’s a point of such an subreddit when nobody helps you
