I’ve noticed that my productivity depends much more on my energy than on motivation.

My friend Mehdi and I started building a simple app called Social Battery: Get Tasks Done around that idea. The core thought was: some tasks are easy when your energy is high, but feel much heavier when it’s low. So instead of organizing tasks only by priority or deadlines, we wanted to explore organizing them around energy too.

We built a first version pretty quickly and kept it focused on one question:

what if task planning worked with your energy instead of against it?

We’re still early, and right now I’m more interested in learning than promoting anything. I’m curious whether other people experience the same thing:

- Do you also notice that your ability to get things done changes a lot depending on your social or mental energy?

- Have you ever tried to plan your day around energy instead of motivation?

- What would make a tool like this actually useful for you?
