I think this is relevant, given that I'm sure a great deal of engineering of various types would be involved, but feel free to remove if it's not.

In this scenario, I'm a billionaire who is building a huge mansion somewhere in the US. I want some trees on my property but I'm too impatient to wait 90+ years for the trees to grow to the height that I want them.

Could I, with enough money, transport fully grown trees from one part of the world to my back yard without killing them in the process? What kinds of things would need to be taken into account to make that happen? Would new technology need to be made, or could one do it with existing technologies?

I'm trying to find a place to grab a bite with a friend after work tomorrow. I go to Google maps. I choose the area, select restaurants, select "has beer". A number of results come up, one of which is surprisingly a Taco Bell. I didn't know they served beer. That's weird. It's ok, that's a 3 star establishment. I set my filters to 4 stars and above.

It's still there.

Ok, maybe set my cuisine. I set it to French, just for funsies

It's still there

I set the price to $80-$100, I'm no longer looking for a restaurant for me and my buddy

I set "accepts reservations"

See, I know what's happening. Taco Bell is probably paying Google a lot of money to make sure their restaurants are showing up on maps. I get it, capitalism amirite? Here's the problem, though. How the hell am I supposed to trust the results I'm getting? When I'm requesting an $80-$100 meal at a 4 star rated French restaurant that takes reservations and I'm getting a 3.1 star Taco Bell, what are we even doing anymore?

This is why we can't have nice things.

I was driving to work, two lane highway due to construction. Semi truck in the right lane going about the speed limit. SUV behind the semi. I had just passed a few cars, and I was about to start passing both these when I spotted someone flying up in my rear view.

I had some time before I got to the semi, so I just popped back into the right lane to let him pass. The SUV started passing the semi around the same time. They're passing at a reasonable speed and they're nearly done passing when Speedy McSpeedster comes up on them, pulling the "I'm going to come up on you at 90mph, make you think I'm about to rear end you before slowing down 4ft away from your bumper" maneuver and begins aggressively tailgating the them.

The SUV...stops passing the semi.

It goes about how you imagine. Speedy McSpeedster starts flashing his headlights, gesticulating, and even rolls down his window to give the SUV the finger.

Eventually, the highway gets a 3rd lane back and he whips around the SUV and peels off like a bat out of hell.

Wish I'd had popcorn.
