My great grandmother immigrated to Australia from Wales a long time ago, only a few phrases she had were passed down and I’m trying to work out what they meant as obviously over the ages it’s like a giant game of telephone so I can only say phonetically what is being said

I’ve worked out that the second half is “love you “ or something similar but obviously with only the audible sound that might’ve been twisted over the many years. I can’t work out with the first half would’ve originally been.

One phrase ( phonetically) was Kerry shiera dwi'n dy garu di

Thank you all, at the moment I’m thinking it’s a bastardisation of go up the stairs. I love you.

It was her nursemaid that mainly spoke to her in Welsh so through the years it probably has altered

Kid friendly face wash

What kid friendly face wash/cleanser do you use? There seem to be so many options out there these days. Obviously something that doesn’t have anything harsh in it like adult cleansers do.

Face washes/clensers

My son has keratosis pillars on his cheeks at the moment which normally you would treat within an exfoliant if you were and adult but obviously I don’t want to put anything harsh on his face at this age. I do want to set him up with a better face washing routine.

Does anyone have a gentle cleanser or kids face wash they can recommend that’s suitable for kids and doesn’t have any harsh chemicals etc? Plain Water or kids body wash doesn’t seem to be helping

I’m not even sure what this kind of line is or what causes or increases them. The ones under the mouth towards the cheeks. I feel like they have been there forever.

Is there anything to be done about them. Most face lines don’t bother me but theses do

So we are going on a cruise with my two kids this year and we are all excited. Normally we have a lot of active holidays and take the kids away on lots of adventures both holiday adventures weekend adventures etc we do a lot as a family.

We don’t have family nearby so my husband and I don’t get much support so when we have time to ourself it’s because the other is looking after the kids. This cruise is our chance to recover a bit after 5 years of maybe 5 date nights?

And so I was asking this cruise forum about if they look after kids in the kids club while the adults go to shore because 1 of the days we thought it would be nice to do an adventure just the two of us (turns out they can)

Que 5 women shaming me at the thought of me not spending the whole holiday with my kids and how dare I leave them and what’s the point on taking them away. Lots of comments how they would *never*

Like I know it’s not for everyone and everyone travels for different reasons but can we not shame people?
